I'm co-habiting, its ok but I don't like having to consider someone elses feelings all the time, I like to do as I please.

Whoo hoo . . .I finally signed up
by Woofer inafter a few months of lurking i decided to register.. was raised a dub all my life .
.got married at 19 (biggg mistake) because as you know "dating is only for marriage" (obviously not for trying to get to know someone better) and was married 11 months after i met my ex-husband.
i felt a lot of pressure from both families to get married.

The first time I heared of carrot cake I was about 14, my mum bought a huge one for Xmas, I was so disgusted when she told me it had carrots in it, I thought she had gone stark raving mad, like that woman in the Vicar of Dibley (if you have seen it), but it was suprisingly yummy.

My favorite weather...what's yours? (Ozzie's gone fluffy!)
by ozziepost inyep, as i'm tapping away here i started to hear the gentle roar on the patio roof - it was a shower!
and the water's free!.
looking out the window i marvel at the richness of the green - the green leaves on the trees and bushes in the backyard, the green of the grass - and it's various shades too!

I love it in summer when its really warm, then about 6pm the place gets covered in sea mist, its so lovely, a bit of a bummer if you have washing on the line but a small price to pay.

Most irritating adverts
by greendawn inwhat were some of the most irritating advertisements you came across on tv, radio, internet, newspapers, magazines etc .
i remember how margarine adverts called them good for the heart because they contained no cholesterol or saturated fats but they were loaded with trans fats that are indeed bad for the heart.
now good quality margarines dont have any but in the past they contained 20-40% trans fats.

There was a car advert in the 90s, to begin with they told you to turn the sound up, if you didn't the rest of the advert was silent, I could never find the remote in time, it used to drive me mad because I wanted to hear what the advert was all about.
Crazy Frog, that was so irritating, and on every single advert.
Now theres the one for Sheila's Wheels car insurance.
