  through various contacts, i heard this was said by a good bethelite at a local hall dedication.

  (i won't quote what was said... i don't want to give away my source.).

  plans are being made to attend the deliverance convention in july.

  I'm sure one day his grandchildren will say that, just as his grandparents did.

  Its my intention to make sure this is the last generation of Jehovah's Witnesses bearing MY last name.

  I think most witnesses by now have become desensitized to the whole "The end is near" garbage.

  Thats why they are pummeling us with garbage like the "keep on the watch", and new formats for the awake to "rekindle" our zeal for the ministry...

  as some of you may know, i'm still an active witness and i'm still in the planning stages of my "escape".

  i met a sister at a district convention a year ago and i've been talking to her on aim for a while.

  i think she is very amusing considering that she is very intelligent and often voices her views on the doctrinal falicies of the wtbs, but when its my turn to give my two cents she makes it seem as if i'm the only poztate.

  I agree with finally free also.

  But she SERIOUSLY thinks its her duty to the congregation to either get him to stop doing it or for him to report himself to the JC.

  She believes that the holy spirit's enacting force on the congregation will be taken away if he is allowed to continue being an MS.

  Its really sad when a child has to go through a situation like this.

  POST YOUR EXPERIENCE OF GROWING UP AS A JW....

  i guess that one of my first memories, about 3 years old, had to be sitting in a hard chair being made to listen to a boring talk that i didn't understand.

  we weren't allowed any toys or books to look at besides the wt publications...i remember getting taken outside and beat for something i did...but i didn't even understand what i did wrong.

  i remember that our car didn't have air-conditioning and during the summer how hot and sticky i was by the time i got to the kh.

  Father passed away when I was four. Mother was baptized soon thereafter.Mother became a special pioneer. Mother became sick when i was about 9.
  

  During her sickness, i used to pretend i had a cold by rubbing soap powder under my nose to make myself sneeze so the local elders wouldnt take me to the meetings. Nannies knew i was faking but wouldnt make me go. Mother died when i turned 10.

  Adopted by another JW (My luck huh?). Really wasnt interested, but young, charismatic elder became my bible study instructor. Baptized right before i turned 12. Have been doing Mic's, watchtowers and assistant accounts since then.

  Anewme; She's 18, so i'm not sure if she counts as a little girl, but i'm only a year older, so what do i know? lol

  I agree with it being a private matter. It just really bothers her, she cant even make herself say porn, she says "Naked women" or "Bad pictures". I'm going to tell her what some of you guys said about her dad losing his position and it eventually effecting her and the rest of her family.

  And i just love the fact that i've gotten so many Australians to post on this one. I can really hear the accents as you insult each other, lol.

  Film Scenes that got burnt onto your memory

  what were some film scenes that pleased or horrified you so much that they stayed vivid in your memory for a long time?

  the one i always recall is the scene where anthony hopkins (playing as hannibal lector) lobotomised ray liotta (paul krendler) cutting off pieces of his brain and giving them to him to eat.

  he also took some of liotta's cooked brain in a plane and gave them to an unsuspecting passenger boy sitting next to him to eat.

  A couple of movies come to mind:

  American history X : The scene where Edward Norton kills the two guys that tried to strip his truck.I dont think anyone can convey hate and defiance like he did in those few moments while he was kneeling to be arrested.

  Pulp Fiction: My first rated R movie. The rape seen really made me queezy, since then i have no problem with the R's but i still find that scene very disturbing.

  THX1138 - The scene where 1138 and the hologram are in the room and the android police officer knocks on the door and says

  The door seems to be jammed. Please check the lock on your side.

  It was just creepy.

  She took it completely upon herself to find out if he was watching porn.
  She walked in on him one day and he just click off all his windows, so she got suspcious, then she looked through his history and found out what he was looking at.
  
  I dont like him, but he's not a pedophile.
