Looking for a Job and other ramblings

here's the deal my job is as a small group leader for the advanced noncommissioned officer's course (ancoc).
the army, as of 1 oct 04 is canceling phase 1 of ancoc.

Did you read the last Army Times about security clearences? Is is possible for you to get a TS? The job market would truly open up for you if you could indeed change MOS (if you wanted). Given the nature of your job I'm not sure if you carry and security clearence one or not. With all the 'bear' MOS's out there if you are in one now you could switch and keep any SRBs if you do indeed change to another bear MOS and have several things to do on the outside.

I believe full disclosure of the procedure be given. I also believe there should be a required waiting period such as 24-48 hours before the actual procedure.
I do believe that it is required by law to assure everything is disclosed, to include watching a video and a waiting period is in place in most states.
Someone correct me if I am wrong. Also those who claim not to be able to afford birth control. I say bull. Having an abortion costs big bucks and if you take the cost of that abortion you could have easily paid for birth control for a few years at least.

What did people do before they had computers?
by ball. injust got my 5th computer on my home network, but i've wired this one up next to my other base unit with a belkin kvm switch box so i can actually control two of them at the same time.
i'm pretty pleased with the result.
i have to run netlimiter which is a really cool app.

I think his point is that he is exitsing off of his parents mistakes. That he was not given the chance to make his own mistakes but that they were directed so to speak.

You have every right to feel that pain and anger. Shit I hated my family for what they forced from me and on me. I continually wonder where I may have been if given the opportunity. Just try not to focus on that aspect of you life and know as you said YOU have accomplished and are successful at that which you are doing now.
I?m sure even if given the opportunity many would choose a different path, because we have learned and learning is not failure. You know much more than the any other person who has not been subjected to what we were. Your life?s lessons are different than others?and this is far from any failure.
I truly believed when I finished college ? at a late age?I would change in some magnificent way... but that was far from the truth. I am me and my life which was directed in a large way by my father and the witnesses still is me. I was still angry, I was still hurt and confused. And in learning to let that anger and rage go over all the ?what if?s? is when I truly knew who I was and that even prior I was successful.
You do not give yourself enough credit IMO.

I understand what you are saying I really do. Perhaps you can look at the time you say was wasted as only discarded. A time you did learn from and can prevent others from 'wasting' their time as well. This is not at all 'wasted time' yet time you can reflect upon and assure that it is not only discarded yet used to teach others.

by Vita Nuova inas much information, insight and entertainment this forum provides, some things about its format and design have come to annoy me.
let me start by saying that i think one of the biggest weaknesses of this forum may be the active topics option at the top.
it seems to me that some people may use this option just to see which topics are still alive.

Dammit sorry for the three posts in a row, I am having a difficult time getting my entire post to appear.
I have two girls, one 18 and the other 15. Both are on the pill and will remain that way until they leave my home. I believe much of this problem lies with a parent and education, period. My girls are not sexually active, but if they do decide to become so then they are 99.999 percent protected. I would like to think 100 percent given they both are schooled on condom use and the horrors of diesase as well and have assured me that nothing will happen unless the guy is wearing a rain coat.
