  in light of the recent events, and all the different viewpoints of the members of this forum.

  i would like to ask what are your thoughts of exodus 21:23,24?

  just would like to know what your views of these scriptures are?.

  HI Julie,
  When I posted those scriptures I was in no way infering that this is an action America should take in light of the recent events. I just saw so many peoples different opinions i.e 'nuke em' and the likes. Then those who wish for peace as I do.

  Because my Husband is in the Military and I am so very scared that his life may be lost also due to the retalation of these horrid crimes aginst US soil. And yes to all who may say the US has done the same to other countrys I see this. And to those who may say it was your husbands choice to join the military I know this too. But in the same sence the firefighters and police put their lives on the line for us daily as well.

  My point in posting those scriptures was to have a better sence of exactly how one interperts them.

  I am aware that some believe the old testament was obsolete after God gave his only begotten son. Then there are some who believe the Bible should be looked at in its entirity and both Old and New testament are applicable. I have only researched religion on a whole very little. I ask the question because of the religions who do believe the Bible as a whole should be used in that respect, some pointing to Revelations 22:18.

  As I have said before I am just now starting to examine the JW belief system and other religions, after spending 26 years as a JW.

  Dear Just a Thought,
  If you look AGuest posted the main question in the thread, asking us what God wants. Two posts later (in same thread) Julie poses her question to AGuset.
  Then Julie repeatly asks for an answer to Her own question.
  Please re-read the posts and you might see what I saw.
  Also since AGuest claims to be receiving messages, why would she not know to which message she was replying.

  My above post is what I saw and still believe. If you follow the post from the begining.
