ok so i had my first breakup a couple of months ago--pretty serious--first bf-(well first everything)-and we last for a year. now what is the "proper" grieving time? and tell me why everyone must make sure you know what your ex is doing and whats going on with them? are people totally clueless? sorry venting..

i set off a bomb
by susu812 inwell my friend is getting in alot of trouble--his ex's step-dad ratted him out to my dad and now the sh* t is hittin the fan.
just from him getting in trouble about 6 other people will be--one is one of my best friends--this bites!
i feel like its happening all at the same time!

i got df'd for ummm sex. yeah with my ex-boyfriend. the funny thing about our group is EVERYONE is having sex--or something to go with it. i know about 10 people who are going to be in some trouble.

what should i do?
by susu812 inok i recently got df'd and i had a friend of mine email me last week to say hi--unaware of my "status".
she was dating an old friend of mine and they practiced "sin" (just like the rest of the teenage group) and she ended up getting pregnant--but she had a miscarriage.
after that they broke up and i haven't heard from her until last week.

by minimus inthe elders and the organization always put us on alert to make sure we never "stumbled" anyone.
of course, someone was always be counseled for this offense.

one time there was a sister in our hall that was "MRS.PIONEER" and she had a step-son my age and they had a pool--so my sister and i, her stepson and another guy from our hall were in the pool playing water volley-ball--and because we were like messing around-tackling and dunking each other and since we were in swim suits (which of course our suits were VERY inappropriate) she made claims to the elders that we were inappropriately "touching one another" WOW. a couple of elders meetings later and a couple of gossip sessions in service they whole hall knew about it. she was crazy though--she had a mental breakdown a few weeks later--

well they said it depends on who all knows and the period of time we were "willing" practicing sin--and it was a while-about a year so i think that had ALOT to do with it even though i was repentful. my ex tried to act repentful--cried up a storm but we both got the big DF. im stillkind of on the fence as well but who knows. it could be a new beginning.

thank you everyone it was seriousy rough but now i can be done!
Sirona-that is what they told me. they asked me if i understood what being disfellowshipped meant and why people are and they said that sometimes people can be repentful and still be df'd. idk

ok well everyone i did go last night. it was so surreal! first of all the annoucements were longer then ever before. when they announced i swaer you could of heard a pen drop--at least 5 people started to cry-including me. it was embarassing but i am kind of glad i went to it. i feel like its finally over and i can start from here. i was df'd for the "severity" of my actions even though i was repentent--they told me even if some one is truly repentant it also depends on their sin and how long it was going on and who possibly knew about it.
thank you everyone for your advice. i don't know if i was brave or giving in to them but i went :(

its funny the way people treat you when this happens--they could of thought you were the nicest, sweetest person ever and then you make a "mistake" and you are shunned. so far my mom has been really cool about it-my dad too-but i know they would be pissed if i didn't go tonight.
your right GBL this is a crossroad for me--now i just have to figure out my entire future--i feel like tonight has such a HUGE meaning for me.

i don't knwo why i am going--i guess my conscience still bothers me about it-i mean i came forward with it. i am just confused as to wat i am doing now with my life. i am at the crossroads. i still am not entirely sure if i am going tonight--i still got a couple hours to figure it out who knows--i know everyone will be thinking about it and picturing it-nasty old people.
