Lovely story, aren't kids great.... my Granddaughter just got a part in her first live play at theatre, it's a small part, but a part, I think I was more excited than her...
Congrats to your sons.... and Happy Anniversary
my wife and i celebrated our anniversary last nite.
we were gonna go out to dinner, just the two of us, and leave our sons home with a pizza.
they are both in band at school, and my oldest just joined the school's jazz band last week (he plays clarinet and tenor saxophone.

Doesn't that age thing under our names make you crazy. I swear mine must be lying but I see yours is lying as well
Yours must be lying Lady Lee, because when I was your Aunt, I thought I was more than 4 years older than you.... but I'll take mine happily, I lost a sister at 4 days old, a brother at 46 yrs., and a sister at 43 yrs., and one still stuck in the big org.... I'm 59 happily, I use to thell the grandkids I was only 39, but now they are old enough to figure out I can't have a 36 and 34 year old boys (their dad's) and be 39.... kids are smart these days. I'm going to be the big 60 in August, with a big celebration I hope, make up for all the lost ones.
Welcome, gusgus! Thanks for sharing your mom with us!
BFD

Thanks to all the other for welcoming me.... much appreciated
Thank you to all
i'm sure this has been asked a million times before but since leaving the witnesses what religion (or lack thereof) have you chosen for yourself?
and what is it about that religion that attracted you?
since leaving the witnesses i think i no longer believe in god, not out of anger, actually i think i like the idea of him more since i don't believe in him anymore.
See, this is why I haven't gone to any other church....I will not allow another religion to make me feel guilty, or unworthy, ever again.
This is what I'm saying the church I attend doesn't make you feel guilty when your not able to go to church or any other thing, and if I don't agree with everything I won't be disfellowshipped. We are allowed to use our own brain.
I agree it may not be for everyone, but I'm very happy with it, as I do like worshipping my Lord and Saviour.

I attend a Christian church, after 11 years of being afraid to go into one from what we were taught as witnesses, I have found everything they taught us about the churches is wrong, I see more being done in the churches than ever was done while I was a JW. We help the needy, we donate to food banks, we go to Nicuraga and Haiti to help, we help our community when in need, and many other things.
I don't feel guilty if I miss church or feel like I'm a weak member in the congregation, sometimes I need to be elsewhere with my family and that's okay. I love the association with other fellow believers. We have bible studies, and we study from the bible.... wow.... I love that, and we're not buying new books all the time. We let our children, (grandchildren), go to Sunday School, and enjoy learning about the Lord, and make it fun to learn, and celebrate their birthdays and Christmas with them...
I go out of love, not fear or guilt... Amen

A stitch in time saves nine...
I got 4 out of 7
i love them.
there was a time when i always had one on a large cardboard that i could push under the sofa when i needed the table.
believe me they helped my sanity during my last few years as a dub.. i had to give them up when i got cats because they thought all those nice little puzzle pieces were cat-sized hockey pucks.
Thanks for the Jigzone site LadyLee..... now I have somewhere else to waste my time, and being competitive like I am, I always have to try and beat the average time..... But love the site..... thanks for the info... Hope your well as I am.....
