  MOUTHY'S DAUGHTER.....

  i just received a call from mouthy regarding her daughter's biopsy (for those of you who didn't know, she had a lump in her breast that they took out).

  it is benign, not malignant!!

  she's so busy with getting ready to move and company that she just didn't have time to post, but she really wanted to thank everyone for their help.

  FOR THOSE UNFORTUNATE ENOUGH TO BE GOING TO THE ASSEMBLY, HERE'S SOME TIPS:

  yes, there are several of us that either have to go to the crap-assed assembly this year, or simply because we plan on taking notes and posting them here.

  knowing how bloody boring the entire thing is, i've made some tips up on how you can keep awake during the 2007 borefest:are you really going to the assembly this year?

  are you ready to fall asleep by 10:05am when the opening song and prayer are over?

  Hey Mum, I was at the same assemblies as you, but I sat in the boring sections, not the saints section with you, I guess I had more fun.

  Although I wouldn't waste my time going back now, I enjoy sudoka better....

  Hilarious Mary, you should write a book, and maybe sell it at the conventions, 5 books per family, quite the sales..... lol

  Mouthy's 80th Birthday ---- Thanks to all

  great big thanks to all who participated in my mother's 80th birthday.... it was great, and she was trhilled..... she had a smile on her face the whole day long.... so many showed up to celebrate, and those that couldn't shared by phone calls, cards, flowers and gifts.

  the memory album i put together for her turned out great, so thanks to so many who sent me a page to put in, it's a memory she'll have forever.... all her children and grandchildren were there, except for the ones in montreal who are still jw's.. .

  thank-you to all, a million times.

  Oops, sorry about the date on the pic, it was taken today, but I forgot to reset my camera when I changed the batteries...

  so it should read July 22, 2006 She looks pretty darn good for a Great Grandmother of a 14, 13, 12, 9, 8, 7, and 1 1/2 year olds, if I do say so myself....

  Be Honest: Did You ACTUALLY Report Accurate Field Service Time?

  i bet most people did not.

  i think nearly everyone counted time spent on breaks.

  or sitting in the car for an hour and a half while the elders did a "shepherding" call.

  I was very honest about it, but always had very few hours.

  I hated service, I always figured everyone knew I was a JW, and if they wanted to know anything about it, they could ask me.

  I also always tried to bargain, I would say to the sisters, "Let me watch the kids, while you go out", but my best sister friend, told me I couldn't do that...

  Oh how I HATED doing service....

  Just returned from...

  giving my testimony at a catholic church,.

  there were about 30 young women on a retreat ( 3 days) i asked how many had calls from jw all of them.... i spoke for an hour ( no problem for me lol) but the questions they asked after were absoulutly great... one you woman ( 18-19) told me she comes from a broken home- & she was brought up by a jw aunt... she had to read the paradise book with her aunt every night.. she loved it as a kid, !!!!

  then she started to think as she grew older, ( i dont know how come so many break the forbidden thing in the watchtower to think!!!!!!

  Such a lovely post Ash, Mum would be so proud of you, as I am.... I ran the whole 7 years ago in my mind a thousand times yesterday.... Oh how I miss her.... Thanks for the nice comment Lady Lee about me looking like her, but she was better looking, and thinner also..... oh well, I'm blessed with still being here. I don't like to post, because I have that crazy spyware on, and can't get rid of it.. but this was too important to leave out.
