LOL @ S! I'll vote for shiva. Nah as noted above, synchronicity I reckon. Thank you Jung.

I met a fellow in McCleod Ganj in northern India. He was from the UK and we met while attending the Dalai Lama's headquarters. We ended up chatting for hrs later in a coffee shop. I never took his details.. Two yrs later, I am in Bangkok (Thailand) and am wandering around the incredibly crowded streets, trying to buy a present for my son. I know the city fairly well, so wasn't concentrating too much on my whereabouts, plus I had earphones in listening to music. I suddenly became aware that I had walked in a circle and was back where I started! At that moment, the English guy walks up with no surprise on his face and says "Hullo x, you look well." I barely started to talk and he was off again!! Yes, he did look a lot like an alien! LOL! The odds of meeting at that instant in a different country and in the maze that is Bangkok....

Violia, he was the highest contender for a heart attack when I was a teen! Riding a chopper on to the stage was very cool. Is he still as big as he was then?

Another contender for best gig was a psychedelic trance party I went to in the Himalayas in 2002. We trecked up to the snowline (a few k's from Manali) under a full moon to find about two hundred people dancing. The dawn was something I will never forget. The full moon was setting over the snow peaks, the sun was rising turning the peaks pink and I could see hundreds of k's to the flat plains below under the light of these two luminaries.
Oh and there was no acid etc in my system. LOL!! Who needs drugs in that environment?!

CBJ I love modern technology. Can you imagine the old days of ordering vinyl imports and waiting weeks to get them? They were not the good ol' days.

R. Crumb's "The Book of Genesis". Wow!
by metatron ini greatly enjoyed this book - which as the cover tells you, is not for minors!
robert crumb ( "keep on trucking", etc) illustrated it - so the women reflect his famous style of big, thick legged , strong-looking females with firm breasts and big booties.. beyond those amusements, it's really very interesting to read genesis this way.
you start to see the patriarchs as similar to arab tribes or even afghani types - severely traditional, horny and no one to mess with.

Yeah Satanus, when I was a kid, he really was underground. Zap comix could only be bought off street corners from dodgy characters..

Also CB (as I have stated here before) I met Robert Plant in the late 90's. I was walking past a restaurant in Byron Bay and there was Mr Plant, sitting at a table on the footpath. Normally, I would leave celebs alone, as we get a few here but he had finished eating and looked directly at me and smiled. I dashed into the restaurant and got a marker pen from staff and asked him for his autograph (on my t shirt). I told him I saw him in '72 and he was impressed. He asked me to join the table but for once in my life, I was literally speechless!! I have a (very)Scottish last name and all his roadies were tough old Scots, so they had a great laugh at my exspense. I still have the t shirt, actually just got it out yesterday.....
