Just checked wiki...
Malcolm and Angus Young developed the idea for the band's name after their older sister, Margaret Young, saw the initials "AC/DC" on a sewing machine. [ 16 ] "AC/DC" is an abbreviation meaning "alternating current/direct current" electricity. The brothers felt that this name symbolised the band's raw energy, power-driven performances, and a love for their music. [ 16 ] [ 17 ] [ 18 ] "AC/DC" is pronounced one letter at a time, though the band are popularly known as "Acca Dacca" in Australia. [ 19 ] [ 20 ]

Jimi Hendrix was definitely a no no, as he was quoted as saying he channelled his music..Must be demons. More likely he was being modest and not taking the glory for his extraordinary talent.
Also I always thought ACDC was more to do with electrical power... As in FULL POWER!!!

The first 10 yrs after leaving the wt, I spent catching up 20 yrs wasted in a paranoid cult. It was a wild ride!!! Now I continue travelling overseas every 6 months and get to music festivals when I can (went to one last weekend) but have cut the more dangerous parts out. Actually, I just walked in from dancing around a fire to loud music with good friends next door. To be honest, I need some excitement in my life,as it keeps me young in my spirit. That is why being a jw nearly killed me. I was suffocating in the mediocrity.

I have umm one, two...six tatts. All put in places that seemed right for the particular design. All are very personal and four were designed by me. I got my last a month ago and I am 55. It is to commemorate a Hindu ceremoney I did in Bali for my dead mother a few days before the tatt. Wrinkles will have no effect on what these tatts symbolise. They were not done for others to admire or approve of.
Go for it!

I have experienced a ruptured disc in the lower back. It taught me that good health is paramount. It also taught me to support myself... Try an osteopath, far less violent in action than a chiro...
