Sorry MM your post came in while I was writing. Good points but as said previous, he'll keep being vague until it gets to an enquiry.

There is no chance of a response Steve. He's a legal man he'll wait to see if the article and the enquiry get traction. He knows that shunning is against the UN charter of human rights but they will cry religious freedom when cornered. Kinda like Hey you signed up (got baptised) you should have read and understood the contract first. And the ultimate cop out? It's a personal matter between family members... Those articles may cause a few sleepless nights though!

Great quotes Jeffro. Actually could be handy in the future if or when the enquiry into cults gets going. Actually when I was a teenager, I had a bible study with V Toole who was the elder pioneer super star of the time. He was very intelligent, a smooth talker and could spin a positve on any situation. No wonder he was chosen by the society to attend Uni and do a law degree. He would find it difficult to spin those WT quotes though....

What do you mean?! I ALWAYS go to the beach after service and wear long pants and button up shirts while I play a game in the sand with my family! Sometimes I wear button up long sleeve shirts too!
by Crisis of Conscience inthe wts likes to imply how jws should dress in and outside of the hall.
you always want to set an example.. so i couldn't help but share this beauty in the january 15th, 2013, study edition of the watchtower.
i always go to the beach like this!

Strange comment from the (I assume) Australian Max Divergent. I have lived near the ocean for fifty yrs and I have never seen clothing that is in the article being worn on the beach. Yes, there has been a sun aware campaign since the eighties but really to say Aussies wear long pants and long sleeve shirts. Look at Cocos comment on the first page on the Gold Coast, that's more like it.

I got the impression that he was a local looking for a Western (jw)wife but realised that he was on an apostate site and saw no potential here to get out of the Ph\s!

It would be a mightily cruel god that would keep disappointing his loved ones with continuous false hopes...
Or one with a great sense of humour.
God to Satan "Hey I'm bored! Nuthin' much been happening lately except for a few tsunamis, how 'bout I get the jws to write another prediction?"
Satan replies "Oh no, not that old chestnut again!"

Have Jehovah`s Witnesses Really Complied With The Law In The State Of Victoria Aust.?With Regard to "Working With Children Checks."?
by smiddy ini have my doubts that they have.my understanding is that only a select few such as elders have got wwcc after years of non compliance.i dont think the rank and file , the majority of jehovahs witnesses going from door to door have obtained one , and if that is indeed the case , then they are still breaking the law.
i would appreciate it if their is anyone in victoria who still attends meetings or knows anybody who does to either confirm or deny my claim.. last year on regional radio abc gippsland talkback radio host celine foenander dealt with the subject who has to obtain "working with children checks" and many callers responded.one in particular stood out to me ,a self employed carpet cleaner had to obtain one before he could continue in his business simply because their could be children at home when he called.their were many similar stories like that.i phoned up and explained to the switch girl about jw`s non compliance.they were very interested in what i had to say but sadly ran out of time and it didn`t go to air.. i`m sure that if the government knew that every baptized jehovah`s witness was considered a minister of religion ,and are required to go door to door to spread their message , then every adult would be required to obtain a wwc check.. i look forward to your comments.
smiddy.

Raise it with your local Member of Parliament (State and Federal). They have to, by law, follow it up.
