  Need some quick advice...

  my biweekly jdub visit is coming up here in a few hours, and i could use a bit of advice.... the lady knows i am a big time doubter, but she has some sort of personal mission to get my husband back into the truth (it makes me sick to write that) and get me in as well.

  she comes by at the exact same time every two weeks to drop of the new wts, reads some scripture, asks how i'm doing, blah blah blah.. i'm pretty polite to her, but i'm ready to kick it up a notch.

  any suggestions for something i could start with?

  Jesus had a Twin Proof!!!

  judas thomas is known to the world as jesus brother.

  most all bible scholars have no problem with this, what is of interest to me is a matter of controversy the translation of didymos used before his name in the greek manuscripts didymos literally translates into english as twin.

  if you take the bible as the true gospel of gods hand then jesus had a twin brother.

  Senseless death is getting to me

  i'm finding that i'm less and less able to handle hearing about or even thinking about senseless death.

  i read about some of the people tortured and killed as heretics during the inquisition and i was nearly in tears.

  then i just read a news report about a pakistani man that killed his own daughters while his wife watched, in order to preserve his family's "honor".. theists can at least imagine these people in heaven, or sleeping awaiting a resurrection.

  It isn't death. It's senseless death. It's eating me up, I can feel it behind my eyes and in my chest.

  What do you do when you get this way? I've always been aware of this stuff, why is it eating me up now?

  Anybody got a god I can borrow? ;-)

  You don't have to borrow a god. Jesus said, "Ask and you shall receive". He also said if we humble ourselves and pray He will heal our land.....our land is the earth.

  Well that just goes to show you that you can't have everything in life especially when it's bad for you,

  ME? Well I am just trying to hold on to Jesus because He gives the world peace no matter what anyone says.
