the consensus seemed to be that it would require a two pronged approach.. 1. help the newly df, da through loving support and association so they don't go back.. 2. help the new bible studies and return visits with a good inocculation from the "jw are god's org" disease.. let's not talk about how to do that just yet.

Or Perhaps there were actaully other humans and Adam & Eve were not literally one man and one woman, just as the ceration probably wasn't literal, and just as 144 000 isn't literal.....
Adam is a man of sin - cannot come into Gods' glory...Eve is the woman or weaker nature inside of us....

On a POSITIVE note ...
by ljwtiamb ini have felt that this site is therapeutic for me, in that i can give voice to feelings that i have heretofore had to keep inside.
i also enjoy reading other's stories and learning that i am not alone.
although, many of us feel that we have wasted our lives on wt, there may also be a very positive side.

At least we can all see that silver lining. I agree that it's this freedom that we have because we know we aren't getting judged by mens' standards. The small things in life are great. Celebrating a birthday with my little brother is wonderful. Seeing the joy on my non witness family faces as we sit down to Christmas and just them knowing that I'm no longer in their iron grip.
Growing up as a witness was also a protection on my part because with my personality who know what sort of mischief I would have got up too ( I mean I did get up to some but if I didn't have boundries)

Crazies in the kingdom hall ... but I understand them.
by ithinkisee inthere are some people (ex-elders) in my hall that are turning really creepy ... falling in and out ... in their 50's ... .
people say they can't understand how they used to be these cool elders, and now they are totally weird.
their kids are around my age and it is killing them to see their "previously elder father" falling in and out of the truth.

in an attempt to 'scare' my gran I asked her " do you think you will see armegedon " She looked at me a bit squiff and answered " of course I will, it's just 'round the corner " So I tried to reason that it's just been around the corner from since I was a little girl - I'm now 29 and it's still just around the corner. I told her I feared for her because what in 10 years time when or if she survives to 84 and still nothing has come & then what in another 10 years time .........
