by unbeliever inand asked do you accept the faithful and distreet slave as jehovahs channel on earth (or something similar to that) what would you say/do?.
i would laugh my ass off and slam the door in their face.
this really happened to a friend of mine a long time ago.

My Dream - Your Thoughts

dreamt i went back to the kingdom hall and everyone had access codes & these computerised dog collars on (neon lights and all) my code had expired & i never recieved a dog collar.
so i go off to the reception desk & there's this very prim & proper witness lady with her flashing dog collar ticking away at her pee cee.

I tell her that I can't seem to get into the Hall - so she whips out this list & I see louise maxwell (me) at the top of that list - She looks over at me, nods to the elders & asks if I want to activate my dog collar - PANIC!!!!!!!!! I see the elders walking over to me and just say in a quite voice to hold on as I might not be needing it seeing I'm getting DF'ed. *end of dream*
I know it's because my mother (madmax) got df'ed yesturday & I'm shortly to follow, but the flashing dog collars had me laughing & I've never dreamt about being at the hall and witnesses.
So any interpretations? Anyone read anything into this? Any alient connections?

by JH inso many verses in the bible are so clear.
example: don't steal, don't fornicate, don't have sex with a person of the same sex....etc.
some verses couldn't be clearer.

I know that I do not fall under "the law of do's and don'ts" anymore. I fall under grace and under grace there is no condemnation - not that I just go and do what the hell I like now, but if I fall - I already know that by grace I'm forgiven & don't beat myself up about it.

It is a horrid thing that the witnesses have come up with regards to the rules & regulations of disfellowshipping. It is on their heads & they will have to answer for it one day.
If you have other family / your own family still count yourself blessed/lucky that you have them. I know some DF'ed / DA'ed don't even have that - they are by themselves. That's them I know and this is about you!!!. You haven't cut yourself off - They have. I hope they come around

by misguided in.
have any of you had similar experiences while in the org where you've been made to feel (by the all-powerful, spirit-begotten know-all elders) like you're crazy, disbelieved, or like you somehow dreamt the whole thing up; when in reality you've really just stated the real truth of a situation?.

oh absolutely. I even thought I was going crazy because they told me that I was practising interfaith ( I never even knew I was) Got so bad that I ended up cutting myself repeatedly so that I could let the 'fustration out'.

All My beliefs have radically changed since I've left the organisation. I have a sense of more freedom, not being judged, grace, joy, love love love and peace. I no longer feel that I have to impress this God of ours, I don't have to win his approval. I feel worthy.
