I'm still reading my copy - I"m on the double standards of the GB. It just angers me so much at times, to think that ours lives were & many millions of lives are being held in the palms of about 14 old men at Brooklyn Bethel - power hungry old men, with nothing better to do that toil with us.

At last finished reading Crisis of Conscience

and what an eye opener it was...dont get me wrong i faded some 10 years ago and the reasons for such were contained in the book, i.e 1914, failed prophecies and so forth.. the expose is disarming by its objective style and whilst i now read any literature through sceptical eyes i could see a person genuinely grieved by what had taken place and the crisis he was subjected to conscientiously; it said it all to me when he said that his aim was not to divert people from the jws but give them support so they could develop as christians and therefore allow them to come to their own conclusions (or words to that effect).. extremely well written and consise with reams of references (which i happen to love).. anyone that is recently out must read this book...it objective, honest and was totally surprising in parts.. db74

our attendance was sporadic due to mom's opposition.
they knew our mom was lutheran and that she kept us from attending many meetings.

Psycho Behaviour.

to celebrate, he earlier went out with his pals, got well and truly sozzled in several pubs and indulged in the highly dangerous pastime of partaking in a few psycho tequilas!
so how do you imbibe psycho tequilas?

Have you guys only caught onto that way of drinking tequila now - hmmm - aaaah for once South Africa leads the way - but then again in the USA you have to be 21 right - here in good old sunny S.A you only have to 18 !!!!!!!!!!!
Some truly south african drinks - you need an extra body to help you drink this one: One is called a flaming lamborgini : You have black sambuca in a martini glass - light it - start drinking the stuff through the straw while the second body (your assistant) adds red sambuca, green sambuca, blue sambuca, douse flame with sambuca cream - tadaaaaa - have three of these in a row ,...... you will not stand.
Then we have the hot samalii - very similar to the above but your first tot is Stroh Rum (the most horrid likquid on planet earth) this is followed by tequila, white sambuca, (and then aother 2 tots of sambuca - you choose your colour) doused with a creamy shooter. after this you eat a jalepeno chilli ------- gives me the shivers thinking about it.

New Convention Publication All About Basic Doctrines
by minimus inmy mother told me today that she has recieved the new publication (i don't know the name of it yet) and it's all about knowing what basic doctrines jws believe in.
she told me this after she had said that she was being given it by a sister this afternoon.
i said, "if there's any new lite make sure you call me".

Hey Buck - I hope we haven't scared you away dude - I know some are saying run, hide, others are asking you to check your motives.
Buck ask yourself if this is what YOU want - do you want to become a witness? Before you say that you want to become an unbaptised publisher make sure you have all the facts & have researched the religion & it's history - there are some fantastic people on here with such abundant knowledge (jaffacake, blondie - only 2 that pop into my head at the mo) I have just left the organisation because for the first time I actually looked at this religion and said "is this honestly the truth???"

How many early Christians?
by Jahna ini was wondering for about a week or so, if anyone has done any research on the number of early christians?
last week i looked up the number of anointed still on earth and in 1935 there were 52 465. using that number you have to assume that about 91 500 slots are left open for early christians, who the wt says were all anointed, and any others who still need to be found in the past, and or future.
if we can add up all of the numbers some how it would either be more, or less then the magic 144 000. what that number honestly is, i imagine would be quite telling about the doctrine regarding this magic 144 000. .

Would You Feel Safe Visiting A Muslim Country?
