  what do they think of none jw

  can anyone tell me what do jw think of the family of none jw .as most of you know my daughter is a jw and it now seems to me that these so called people are telling my daughter not to have any contact with her family only with them.

  if this is true why are they doing this and why is she doing what they are telling her.

  can anyone tell me what do jw think of the family of none jw .as most of you know my daughter is a jw and it now seems to me that these so called people are telling my daughter not to have any contact with her family only with them.

  As to what they think of non-JWs in general, I think I remember a recent WatchTower comparing us to cockroaches. Yeah, that's right, bugs that God must destroy in order for "his people" to live hapily. This one I always try to remember and I like to tell this bit of WT wisdom whenever I talk to people or family about those loving JWs.

  convention freaky memories

  watching families eat meals during the session.

  The hard as rock seats

  The fact that I had to give up two or three perfectly good free days.

  Obsessing over how I was going to make up the two hours of door-to-door I usually did on Saturday morning.

  When I got old enough to realise that the dramas where actually not as good as I remembered as a kid. (Fake voices and amplified gestures and silly comparison to Bible characters, "nicely dressed" 50's like families, desperate laughter from audience at lame attempt to jokes.)

  The prayers that wouldn't end, when all you want is going home, each word is more frustrating then the last.

  Pretending to take notes but really drawing stuff (and trying real hard to hide it from the people sitting behind)

  Looking at the publicity banners around the stadium in an attempt to keep self sane

  Staring at those huge alarm clock things that they use in baseball matches, and see the minutes sloooowly ticking away.

  Counting the tiles (or stains) on the roof

  Singing songs in my head (not kingdom!)

  Sitting on same hard chairs to try and eat lunch, dad having the advantage of using his big suitcase as a plateau

  Looking at very fat families bringing cushions to sit on while eating McDonald's take-out

  My baby brothers having to sleep on the ciment ground (with blankets of course) and being waken up at every clapping.

  Me being smug as I catch my dad fall asleep after dinner

  Being so bored that can be entertained by looking at various potted plants around the stage

  The list is so long....

  i just had to share

  i met a friend of mine for lunch today, and lunch extended into coffee.

  now this is a girl from a rural background and always seemed to be doing the right thing.

  as coffee progressed she asked me what i thought of the new blood card- we discussed that for a while, then she mentioned another doubt.

  Blood and Pumpkins

  i heard a witness once claim that accepting blood fractions according to the wts's method of dividing up blood cells was ok because it is no longer considered blood once these fractions are removed.. well is there pumpkin in a pumpkin pie?.

  everyone should agree there is.

  yet it is not the whole pumpkin but a fraction.

  Ooohh, maybe we're about to witness another mass-exodus like they had in 75. I mean, some of them are bound to question the life-affecting decision. *Remembers the time when they kept encouraging young ones to make a career at Bethel.* That wasn't really that long ago....

  Oh man....it's taking all my willpower not to just jump in there and reply. *shakes head*

  So according to those guys, the reason animals would have to die is to avoid over-population?lol What, can't their God magic out another planet for them just like they are so sure he will do for humans? Don't this people know that the JWs teach that there will be no more "having kids and grand-children" in their paradise?

  So let's see....when they DO grow larger and build new facilities and have more bethelites and more printers, it means they have God's blessing and the work is speeding for the end and they make a great deal about it. And then when they are getting smaller and downhill it means the same thing?tsk
