In the strictist sense of the word a pedophile is: an adult who is sexually attracted to children. Legally speaking the mere fact that he has solicited a child, more than likely for sex (or the need for traveling would not have come up), would violate federal law. That and child pornography if he may possess. See 18 USC 2251 & 18 USC 2252.

Oh, and I should mention that you should be able to inform them anonymously. Normally what they do is a "knock and talk" or basically visit the residence and ask "questions" without naming a source. You would be amazed at how many times people "confess" to there "bad habit".

Call the FBI or local PD (kiddy porn task force) and relay your suspicions. They can go back through the provider and see where he has been. He might also be currently looking at kiddy porn and or soliciting young girls unbeknownst to his wife - once a pedaphile always a pedaphile. I would make the call and put your mind at ease - leave it up to them to pursue - who knows you might be saving the mental, physical, and spiritual life of a young child as well as there innocense. HTH

ask, and ye shall receive.. i will herewith post my notes from the km06 elders school i recently attended.

i will post this in 6 parts, to give people a chance to read smaller chunks and comment on them.. a couple of introductory notes: i wrote an awful lot of stuff, and will not post everything.

for each talk, i will post 3 sections: (1) general synopsis, (2) personal thoughts & observations, (3) particularly egregious quotations.. the primary speakers, who delivered more than 1/2 of the talks, were a circuit overseer and a guest from brooklyn bethel.. to protect anonymity, we will refer to the sadly inane circuit overseer as brother sico.. and the old-timer lifelong brother from bethel, completely out of touch, as brother bethel-coot.. one more introductory comment: it seems the main points the society wanted to send to elders were:.

You also need to remember that ALOT of the Spanish Brothers used to be CATHOLIC and therefore were required to tith. This, I'm sure, spills over into the Society. Though they are NOT required to tith, I'm sure many have been conditioned so well that they still dump tons of $$$ into the coffers of the WTS. So in the long run the Society will make out like bandits until the minorities become assimilated and educated.

I always liked the comments made about guns, cars, jets etc. not existing in the new system, like everyone was going Ommish or something. I had a discussion a while back with a "brother" concerning firearms and the new system - since I was being ragged on for owning some. Trying to reason with him/them that ANYTHING can be used as a weapon was exhausting. I didn't read where Cain killed his brother with a .45 or even a bow, more than likely struck him with a log or rock. Also, trying to reason with him/them that guns can be a form of friendly competition - shooting matches, some take great skill, etc. The scripture he oved to quote was in Isaiah about beating spears, etc. I told him that scripture talks about an end to war, so yes I can't see the need for RPG's or tanks or nucs, etc. but guns and bows have historically and traditionally been used outside the arena of hunting and killing. He still didn't get it...

no one really has a conclusive answer to that.

i think it would reveal a lot if we were able to find out.. i know there have been various threads in the past where it revealed a clue here and a clue there.

So your saying it is ok and ethical to take the R&F's cash and invest it to make a profit?!?!?! Yet, out of the other corner of there mouth tell the R&F not to "invest" in a sinking world? Sounds just a little hypocritical to me, not to mention dishonest. Sort of like the KH trick. Lend back the brothers donated funds at 3% interest and then when the note is paid take the property. IMO that is dishonest. For the moment I will give you the "WTS has no knowledge of the Henreitta fund". Would YOU accept a large sum of money from someone blindly? Or would you ask questions as to WHY and WHERE the money came from? Some people in society would not go beyond having there hand out, yet the WTS is supposed to be from gods channel, right? Shouldn't they make sure of all things and at least inquire as to where the money is coming from? Like Judas they are accepting blood money no matter how many ways you try to spin it...

i am again confused on a teaching of jw's.

while i was at the donut shop an elderly jw woman came up to me and started to discuss armaggeddon with me.

since this is one of my favorite topics i engaged in dialogue with her.

If you really want to mess with her mind ask here to read Revelation 20:4

Rev 20:4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and [I saw] the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

Gee, it seems that the sealing might not have come in 1935. I don't remember the "Beast", according to WT chronolgy, coming to power. This might, just might, indicate a FUTURE event and thus the whole premise around 1935 is hogwash and a ploy by Rutherford to create 2 groups since most of the R&F claimed to be "heaven bound". Appearently, the R&F numbers were getting dangerously close to 144,000 and Da Judge couldn't have that.
