i have had this constantly for 3 - 4 months now and am finally on some strong antibiotics at my request in case it's infected inner passage ways and sinuses because i do suffer allergies and blocked ear passageways.. anyway, if you are a closet hypochondriac in the making like me, you occasionally google things to see what's wrong with you and find references to horrendous things, which make you worry you're going to die, or start dissolving from inside out.. one such site about ringing in the ears is telling me i have some connection to the spirit realm which i can hear as a ringing in the ears.
if you don't believe me, google ringing in the ears metaphysics, and you will find it is spiritual data downloading, my heightened spiritual awareness, a choir of angels singing or the noise of the spirit realm which i haven't been able to hear until now.. i'm not sure just why there are so many theories, but when i followed some advice, and sat back in my chair and focused on the noise, it is as they tell me, a kind of vibrational thing, and a kind of relaxation can befall you.. .
i'm not saying i believe any of this, just saying, i can see where the theories stem from.

I heard on radio (speaking of spirit realm) scientists have discovered a portion of an individual's brain lights up when they pray -- she said that it literally lights up --- can you imagine! NO to your question. I was/young cajoled into wedding ordeal and I refuse to have a funeral I don't want. Reading blondie's comment above makes me sigh/discouraging! Do we ever get our way. I'm very social but go to these funerals --- one a few wks. ago and they praised the deceased (all good) and her charitable contributions to society were endless. I'm still trying to figure out how one woman could do this much charity/organization-service group work, raise 4 children and breathe. I can't figure it out but a couple of the groups were thru Catholic church other than Jr. League and few others. A couple of these groups exasperate me!
Anyway, when dining/lunch w/this individual we discussed how all the people in our lives and service orgs., etc., one really has no close friends --- a couple of others have told me same and there would be only --- maybe --- two people they'd ever care to see again in their lives once going into inactive service. Point is --- all this funeral expense and fluff going on seems stupid and big display to me. I realize it's for the family.

I agree w/you Isaacaustin but OTOH how does the Catholic Church keep 'em in and continue growing? People want to worship in a way they can make their own decisions/choices/mistakes and have some place they go and feel all better (Catholic Church and other mainstream religions) at least what my friends told me when referring to the JW religion.

I've read a couple of times (on this board) how parents were leaving a percentage to the cult --- and, also, certain posts where parents were bequeathing their estates to them. I thought about it and it makes perfect sense. Kids leave the cult and the parents are brainwashed to leave the cult their estates to spread the "good news". I bet they hound those parents to death. So you had a child that died of lack of blood transfusion --- ooops --- one less child in that family for those parents to leave anything to -- more for the cult to stand to inherit.

Is Scientology a danger to children like Watchtower? Do they hide molestation/rape and have the blood restriction rules. Anonymous is possibley seeking protection for children which is admirable! Scientology swindles adherents out of their money but that's not unique --- Tower hounders are always begging plus their shunning operation structures them to receive estates when parents cut off their own children. Tower hounds have their bases covered.
