i stopped by a local grocery store b/c i was not certain that a challis scarf was wool or rayon b/c the fabric content is in arabic.

WOW&WOW --- Awesome! I'm jealous, too!

My husband meets celebs/famous people now and then (think Cary Grant was the 1st one he met many yrs. ago when first practicing) and I've met a few but meeting a Beatle would be at top of my list.

I'm not star struck but we went by a party one night (drop by had something else going on --- w/Siegfried/Roy performing in the backyard no less) and we left and just missed Elizabeth Taylor. At the time I didn't care too much but now have regrets.

I was face to face one time w/Michael Jackson --- OMG! I froze. He and his sister were shopping. He was beautiful at that time.

Tiresome Speculation

the boys at wt hq seem pretty sincere about the end being just a whisper away.

much of what they are doing smells of a batten down the hatches and brace for impact mindset.

i know this is a drum they have been beating for decades, but.... [if !supportlists]- [endif]the intensity seems to be ramping up.. [if !supportlists]- [endif]they know more about the lawsuits, low baptisms, youth retention rate, apostate uprising, etc... than we do.. [if !supportlists]- [endif]i think many of them really believe they are gods one true organization and they view these events as prophesy-fulfilling.. [if !supportlists]- [endif]i think they foresee their own impending demise.. they are taking all the guess work out of the state of their stability.

well the title of this caught me attention especially since so many ex-jehovah's witnesses think any kind of evangelism or preaching is bad.

so the idea that some evangelism might actually be good intrigued me.

i have refrained from adding comments how jws measure up to each of these.

Ringing in the ears (Tinnitus)

i have had this constantly for 3 - 4 months now and am finally on some strong antibiotics at my request in case it's infected inner passage ways and sinuses because i do suffer allergies and blocked ear passageways.. anyway, if you are a closet hypochondriac in the making like me, you occasionally google things to see what's wrong with you and find references to horrendous things, which make you worry you're going to die, or start dissolving from inside out.. one such site about ringing in the ears is telling me i have some connection to the spirit realm which i can hear as a ringing in the ears.

if you don't believe me, google ringing in the ears metaphysics, and you will find it is spiritual data downloading, my heightened spiritual awareness, a choir of angels singing or the noise of the spirit realm which i haven't been able to hear until now.. i'm not sure just why there are so many theories, but when i followed some advice, and sat back in my chair and focused on the noise, it is as they tell me, a kind of vibrational thing, and a kind of relaxation can befall you.. .

i'm not saying i believe any of this, just saying, i can see where the theories stem from.

Good info on aspirin and OTC/skincare products/thanks. I'm concerned this salicylic acid might be in makeup/moisturizer products that are supposedly renewing/good for skin.

I think it's very common and I just try to ignore it. I think it's from extremely loud noises --- playing music way to loud (concerts) and people yelling in your ears (childhood) causing nerve damage. It is annoying.

wasblind -- I could not believe what I was hearing about the brain lights but the brain might light up when we relax and talk to ourselves. Of course the radio speaker hyped it up but who knows. If you find any info do tell.
