I've not had good luck with JW workmen or cleaning people -- in fact, very inept people who are just waiting for the end and fleecing from anyone possible. They have an 'entitlement' attitude but I did have one decent JW worker about 20 yrs. ago. Her parents instilled good, honest, work ethics -- she was responsible and honest. The masses are con artist, liars.

The evil left has the voting right - or considered "right" but actually more conservative at this point in time or just gave up on the liberal party (who keep their pie holes shut for fear of bodily injury) resolved re/their decisions. Yes, Zeb - there used to be a few posts about the WT seizing the INS checks from any construction work/repairs in disaster zones. The non-JWs must have had to sign a form securing the cult's right to any/all insurance funds the homeowner received. Sure hope the repairs/construction were remediated by the cult's A-Team workers. WT cult must be a licensed contractor/lol. I'm sure they don't need to be with their religious freedom and it all falls under any/all general contractors that are members.

Merger aftermath
by Rattigan350 ina couple of months ago, i reported on my congregation being disolved and merged with another.. on sept 1, cong b merged with cong a using the same hall, thereafter using cong a's meeting times.
also nearby cong c moved into the hall using cong b's meeting times and cong c's kh is being put up for sale.. i've since been to both sunday meetings and both midweek meetings.
at all, the parking lot is totally full, cars have to park around the corner and on the street.

LongHairGal -- I agree re/sitting in the back of those bunkers. I couldn't stand being more than a few rows up from the back when seats were taken and when the 'servants' would try to lead us up near the front I refused. Seemed like back rows were in demand but always good to be as close to an exit as possible.

Jehovah's Witnesses Came to My Neighborhood

that was not the case when my wife and i first moved here (north central oregon).
in fact, our neighborhood was visited at least once every 4 to 5 months - even in the coldest winter months.

They have to be much like the JWs - about the 3rd or 4th paragraph down it says something like a funeral should be simple, supportive without being ostentatious or seeking to glorify the person who passed (don't mention the poor stiff who contributed to the cult) -- yep, they have the cult's outline down. Why would any JW hire them when the elders have the cult's lines and JW script. Aren't JW funerals without caskets and flowers - maybe a few, minimal, bouquets. So cold and gray.
