Yeah - here it's because of lack of social distancing (technically need about 13-15' which is ludicrous so they use minimum 6' and good luck) and swimming pool/ocean play can be close proximity with kiddos, etc. So many people here refused to wear masks - now it's mandated w/COVID numbers soaring. Masks/cloth coverings/scarves/anything should have been highly recommended or mandated from day one for essential errands - idiots!

Beach/sunshine has to be the healthiest right now provided one social distances/wears mask around others.

one person yesterday said he lies.

another person said she hears from her clients in her business that the constant drama and push back from all sides against trump is fatiguing.. i remind people that before this worldwide pandemic, we had the best numbers in jobs.

Not so sure - might be your opinion but many Republicans and those who only wanted the best candidate for the nation were thrilled 'hearing' Trump was running long before he made his candidacy public. He offered hope from all the crazy that's been going on.

I laugh when I hear Trump is hard around the edges - he's beyond gracious, patient, kind, understanding, toward the mob left who has committed crimes against not only he and his family but the US citizens who voted him into office. Obama - a class act thug involved in deep corruption against the country! How many multi millions has Obama cost the American taxpayer from his education to free lifestyle. Trump has dealt with every issue imaginable and is not a deep state mobster like those on the left.

Removing Historic Monuments and Statues - Does the Term "Historical" Make it Right or Wrong?

after further review and thought, i really don't see how removing a monument or statue that may be truly offensive to a large group of people is in some way rewriting history.. i think of germany or other parts of europe.

you don't see swastikas on buildings or statues of hitler or mussolini or other upper level generals in public.

would it be good for a person (think jewish) to drive around a city and see hitler in a public park, even though it is "historical?

CNN and all the other deep state news doesn't even report or have journalism - they represent the mob.

Facts are out there but you have to leave your beloved deep state news and dare to check out. Many can't stand Fox today because of all the liberalism - at least they provide both sides and they go at it but we need to hear it all.

I drive through a beautiful mountain range in calif and ugly windmills standing up ruining the view. The Kennedys certainly didn't allow nor want them visible from any angle from their estates - who would!

we used to use this scripture to show that there was going to be a future resurrection.

but recently i got to thinking about it.

if the apostle paul was right in saying that the righteous on death would be changed in the twinkling of an eye from earthly life to heavenly glory why would there be a future resurrection needed for the righteous?

johnamos - Ridgecrest is very close to so cal - not much over an hr. drive and so cal has these shakers daily. I'm not undermining 5.8 but after Mexico's quake not so unusual since these are common occurrences in area. Were there not quakes or geisers spewing wild in Yellowstone lately - something going on? I recall photos 2 or so wks. ago. Many geologists/seismologists/scientists stay on top of that situation.

i haven't been on here in quite some time so i apologize if i missed a similar thread already (i did look for one :) ) anyways, just to be clear i think the jw response to covid in general has been really positive and proactive and they've done really well trying to educate people on covid, doing zoom meetings, etc to prevent spread within the congregations.

the part that i find interesting is how compliant and non-apocalyptic the branch has been during all of this.

even as someone who's a bit of a skeptic i found myself wondering if this might be the beginning of the end between covid, economic upheaval, and blm.

So many JWs out of work and nothing but time to 'dulge around with Zoom and thank gawd for the extra pay they're receiving through +unemployment. Oodles of free grub being handed out via AG dept/food banks. They must 'think' they're in Paradise not racing around to the cult's demanding schedule - not good if they're still dressing up!

I think some JWs without good secular jobs have it harder right now - many people are afraid to have housekeepers/handimen/window cleaning in their homes during COVID but they should receive state aid - Medicaid benefits or welfare assistance which is probably hiked up.
