  A Coin With a Remarkable History

  over the years i have shared a few examples of objects i have found while metal detecting near my home in northumberland in ne england.

  i live in a rural estate that was the site of a medieval village with a manor house and defensive tower.

  many of the things i find illustrate the amazing history of the location.

  What a unique property -- recall photo you posted few yrs. ago of the beautiful estate. Your grandchild is going to be thrilled with this historical coin collection someday. I've saved my father's silver dollars but not one of them is of real value except to me. My husband collected silver dollars as a child and I keep telling him to check the dates on them. Seriously doubt he has one of the valuable Nevada gold/silver (both minted/late 1800s gold strike days) but the fond memories of collecting is special.

  YES - most likely being protected by the best trained security in NY or at least most highly recommended. Bet they don't trust Bro Deadeye & Posey to donate time doing this very important job all paid/provided for by the loving congregations. Live, roving, security, costs a fortune.

  It's enough stress worrying about family members attending meetings these days. I'm sure halls are taking every precaution to ensure safety but without trained, armed, security, they're limited -- sitting ducks at any/all venues.

  Heart wrenching -- religion (especially WT) promotes such vitriol/evil, IMO. I couldn't believe only 1 death reading the first topic of this tragedy last night. Unfortunately, it will most likely strengthen the JWs faith to carry on.

  Longy/Beth Sarim -- exacty re/public events and travel. Canceled 2 trips past couple mos -- this is not good for the dismal world economy. We'll all be afraid to travel to the edge of town.

  Exactly, Longy and Beth Sarim. Afraid to travel -- canceled 2 trips past couple mos. We'll all be afraid to travel to edge of town. This ongoing world horror is going to drag the economy down more.

  Unfortunately, this convention tragedy will probably strengthen the JWs faith to carry on.

  My conclusion on the matter

  after being brought up a jw, going to mts, bethel, pioneer school multiple times, serving in foreign assignments and having been an elder for decades my conclusion is that i am now pima, physically in mentally agnostic.. agnostic means you think it can’t be proven either way creation or evolution.

  i do tend to lean towards evolution but creation at the very start because you can’t get life from dead matter.

  but i’m open to the possibility of chance theory at the origin of it all.

  Worth checking out -- I'm not convinced but need an open mind.

  I'll never be able to wrap head around when they try to explain how several in group/family become sick if not a virus -- I don't understand but I'll watch again.🤪

  here are some encouraging scriptures for the day:.

  revelation 21:2 i also saw the holy city, new jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from god and prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.. hebrews 11:10 for he (abraham) was awaiting the city having real foundations, whose designer and builder is god.. revelation 21:24 and the nations will walk by means of its light, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.. revelation 22:1 and he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, flowing out from the throne of god and of the lamb 2 down the middle of its main street (of the holy city).
