as the title says i'm having a total hip replacement on monday.
the pain has grown over the years and now i'm using a cane to walk.
after steroid injections and physical therapy, it was decided that a total hip replacement is appropriate.
Good luck and smooth recovery GreatTeacher. Seems to be quite a popular surgery these days w/great success. I've friend who has had both hips replaced as well as knee surgeries past few mos. She's qualified now to be on the 'Bionic Woman' list.

perhaps the irs swooped in and claimed fraud and padlocked the headquarters and kingdom hall doors?
or the gb took the money and ran to a nice non-extradition country to live out their years?
Beth Sarim: "They rely on their birthrate to keep it going." They learned well from the Mormans. I've 'heard' JWs are having so many babies these days but perhaps just a couple of wild statements made. How when we read halls are comprised of oldies.
I just don't know how hardcore JW will wrap their heads around such a mess of this if the gb disappear and WT crumbling -- they'll blame apostates/Satan and carry on.

a bible proverb says: "the shrewd one sees the danger and conceals himself.
Rule No. 1 -- any org, person, who questions education is a huge red flag re/totalitarianism/authoritarianism. The cult abhors those who see right through their show biz and college teaches critical thinking skills, debate. No thinking/debate allowed in brainwashing bunkers. How many times did I hear secular people (or negatives re/those in comfy religions) weren't interested in 'truth' and only want to debate. They don't like competition thus the rigid/horrific interpretation of scripture with respect to shunning and winning JWs' time/assets. Places them in the #1 slot to inherit all of adherents' estates/properties. What a concept.

Yes -- I think it's spelled Leoleila - obviously more than 3 syllables but that spelling doesn't look right. If I figure out I'll let ya know. I never made/had time to read. As far as I know she stopped posting moons ago, but I miss a lot of posts.

IW2K - yes -- all embryos are initially female -- within a short time the weaker embryos transfer to male. Strange when men are the strongest physically and have higher IQs (not saying females are not higher in some -- but generally) per the science. We'll call it old science.😂 We all should be questioning the 'science' these days. Don't remember the chemical/scientific details from psych classes decades ago.

Oh my -- if one needs a theological education from a seminary to read/interpret the Bible that certainly negates the common plowboy (Tyndale version) and fishermen scriptures. I don't have a degree in religious studies nor well versed in the good book but hells, bells. Do recall verses or preaching😛 re/'creator' has hidden it from the wise (in their own eyes -- I like that one) and intellectual ones and revealed it to the unschooled and ordinary. Oh well, guess we with art degrees don't have to worry about this stuff.
