  anyone out there --- please be so kind to recommend the dawkins' children book re evolution.

  i've ordered magic of reality but have a feeling it's the wrong book.

  didn't see a children's book listed at amazon.

  What's the news about Stephen Hawking? Do JW's think he's xtian? I get the impression w/tower must talk favorably about him.

  thanks, Tammy. Looks like he has several and also ordered The God Delusion but will also check out Greatest Show. Seems these were the most recommended on jw.net.

  Thanks --- but someone posted the name of a specific (new, maybe?) children's book. It may have been called "The Greatest Show on Earth" or "The Blind Watchmaker"? I'll check again on Amazon.

  she said for something to be fixed first it must become known what needs fixing.

  it is true for the physical, but also for the spiritual i believe.

  Sab -- interesting about the Arizona lights. There were people talking in Vegas about something hovering over the Summerlin area --- seems it would appear between a specific time frame a couple of yrs. ago. With Area 51 and the test site I didn't think much about it. Don't you think it's something experimental by the gov't at this point.

  i was reading acts 20 the other day and noted how it makes a clear case against the annual "memorial" as instructed by the wt.. acts 20

  paul in macedonia and greece6 but we sailed away from philippi after the days of unleavened bread, and in five days we came to them at troas, where we stayed for seven days.. eutychus raised from the dead7 on the first day of the week, when we were gathered together to break bread, paul talked with them, intending to depart on the next day, and he prolonged his speech until midnight.. .

  how do you explain david's graphic portrayal of jesus' death by crucifixion (psalm 22) 1000 years before christ lived?.

  how do you account for the odds (1 in 10 to the 157th power) that even just 48 (of 300) old testament prophecies were fulfilled in jesus christ?.

  in what sense was jesus a "good man" if he was lying in his claim to be god?.

  Have to disagree w/you, N.Drew. I'm not saying everyone is evil (there are many kind, benevolent, loving people in the world) but the ones that are cause horrendous suffering. Many disordered characters, disadvantaged, angered individuals, etc., receive counseling/therapy thru school, family/social support systems, etc., and society's crime stats are down.

  Churches offer help to many w/therapists onboard.
