just need encouraging words... elders came over and breifly stopped by to encourage me back to hall
by Butterflyleia85 inwell i was kinda cut of gaurd when i saw them.
it was the two elders from the local congregation.
they said they just wanted to come over for encouragement to come back to the meetingsm one of the elders i knew me sence i was a baby and saw my son in my arms and asked how old he was.

2012 ICSA Conference The Ethics of Evangelism
by Lady Lee inwell the title of this caught me attention especially since so many ex-jehovah's witnesses think any kind of evangelism or preaching is bad.
so the idea that some evangelism might actually be good intrigued me.
i have refrained from adding comments how jws measure up to each of these.

Have you ever wondered why as Jehovah's Witnesses you ignored the inconsistencies, lies and hypocricies of the Watchtower's Governing Body for so long?

1. the watchtower often praised rutherford's 1918 talk "millions now living will never die.
" however, everyone who had ever heard that talk was dead.. 2. the governing body urges the placement of the watchtower's "bible" literature with strangers.

I realized it was a bunch of garbage once I was on the inside and miserable and it was downhill for me. I'd read the mags (brainwashing) on/off for yrs. and liked the fantasy of this one, true, great, religion (OMG!) and didn't hang around long at all. It made me sick and when I felt good I had a life to lead/too busy.
