  What Do You Think About New York City?

  i have been to the city hundreds of times.

  i’ve always loved the vitality of the city and no one could ever say that you could get bored in nyc.

  i regularly went for business during the day and in the evenings go to local bars and restaurants as well as the village.

  nonjws - I can't believe it - my friend here who has the beautiful Seattle condo hasn't been back since the COVID outbreak. She jumped a flight to return back here which is her main residence. So sad when it's so much cooler in Seattle and their children/grandies are in area. Have you been to Bainbridge Island? Oh my - I don't even mind waiting/riding the ferry across to it. So beautiful. If I lived there I'd eat the fish & chips every day at one of the famous restaurants at Pikes Market (forgot the name). I love the Aquarium down by the water front. I also love the art district down by the railroad tracks where all the metal art objects are along the landscape and all those cute, artsy, condos. I'd even take one of those (or would have) and walk back the blocks to the main city - seems like a lot of walking which is good!

  I didn't see any homeless when I was there but a lot has changed and I know the protestors were outside their high-rise but don't think any damage was done.

  I'm going to check out Tacoma - I had a great Aunt who lived there decades ago.

  nonjw - there was no place quite like it. I even love the salad bars at the corner drug store. I always said if I could live anywhere it would be NYC until I fell in love with downtown Seattle (so beautiful, great food) and my friend's condo there. Covid doxxed condo idea there -- fogetboutit!! These magnificent cities cannot be replaced!

  mick - We're known as East Cali now. I think most conservatives aim for Arizona and TX but growth is wild here.

  I recall the crime in NY before Giuliani cleaned it up - had friend held up at gun point walking out of his hotel and robbed and another one had her wallet stolen right out of her tote bag.

  The COVID death rate was inflated and the accurate one was actually posted on the CDC website at one time. It's clearly a killer virus for many - elderly and those with comorbidities. COVID tests were hyped and facts need to be confirmed before you can buy into your party line.

  Folks fleeing from NY and California causing real estate prices to soar in NV, AZ - all of the southwest. Shortage of homes here.

  NY is a nanny state.

  It's a goner unless new leadership takes over -- highly unlikely and rigged elections.

  I love(d) NY. I felt so safe walking all over - police on every block (or so it seemed) and I'd walk everywhere. Love the great restaurants - we have quite a few of the famous ones here now but not the same as NY during it's safe and sound times. Loved the theatre, shopping, shopping, shopping, art museums. I loved the delis - bagels, Gus' pickles, Li-lac Chocolates, the hotels, the jewelry stores. No place like it but I also loved Chicago (another horror story now) which also had incredible restaurants and shopping on the Loop, theatre, magnificent Lake Michigan - so beautiful.

  It's a sad situation.

  There's no transparency re/the actual death rate from the vaccine. Top virologist estimates it around 200,000. CDC is changing the VAERS reporting system which isn't public to begin with but a dial in number and no one can confirm the amount of calls and if info is legitimately recorded. Will take time to get the evidence or what's left of it.

  Heard of new book that described the pandemic plan several yrs. ago. Couldn't jot title down at time but think it's called, 'We the Prey'. It's on a video before Dr. Zelenko speaks. He's an excellent doctor, btw, and saved many lives in upper NY where the Wuhoo flu was spreading like wild fire and people dropping like flies once hospitalized last March, 2020. His youtube was the most viewed ever and although removed by social media (of course) has treated many COVID dignitaries. He also was consulted when President Trump had COVID. He advises 5 or 7 countries re/COVID treatment.

  pastor russell: follow the money.

  charles t. russell, age of 13, joined the congregational church (dumped presbyterian).. he went (like girl scouts are sent out with cookies to sell) door to door to raise money for the church.. russell hated fundraising.

  he had to ask poor people to part with their money.
