suppose we were naïve observers, given the following data, and asked to draw a conclusion.
we see people gather at a busy bus stop several times a day.
at first one person, then another, and another, until they form a group.
ANNA MARINA - oh, thank you so much for the video and the great laugh/lololol. Oh my - I really needed it.
i hate anyone bothering me going door to door and house to house.
maybe it’s my jw background?
i dunno..
There's a plethora of solid info on social media from renown, respected, virologists/immunologists.
which english translations of the bible are you favorites, and why?
my favorites include the (english) revised version bible (of 1881-1885) and its apocrypha (of 1898), the american revised version bible (of 1898, it close to the american standard version), the american standard version bible (of 1901), the new american standard bible - updated edition, the new revised standard version bible with the apocrypha, the complete bible: an american translation (it includes the apocrypha), and the twentieth century new testament.
i also use others beside those.. they are my favorites because i consider them to be highly accurate, and also they are either very literal (but not so literal as to be hard to understand) or they use functional equivalence.
Disillusioned JW - Interesting topic/comments and thanks for info. Good to know it's online as I think I threw my couple of '84 (very studied what basic scriptures they used) ones out many yrs. ago. I'm going to ask a JW if they use this version. I do have latest version (eBay purchase and JW gave me one) but after reading negative comments never bothered to check it out. They're all packed or placed away somewhere.
Appreciate all the comments.

Are JWs advised to only use the silver sword (latest) version? I was familiar with the '84 version and preferred to other translations I ordered a decade ago. As someone else mentioned perhaps it's the familiarity.

interesting video by lotus eaters.. it seems that the nsa are spying on tucker carlson's emails.. the nsa are allowed to spy on foreign countries and citizens, but it is illegal for the nsa to spy on us citizens.. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hq5d3e6fzui.
BREAKING: "GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy has asked Devin Nunes to investigate the NSA over concerns of spying on Tucker Carlson." I picked this up on telegram - one of the many channels so could be drivel.
Ahh, Biden and the boys -- this should be interesting. Evil prevails -- always!
it is reported that in the usa, 30 people are dying per day after receiving the corona vaccine.
anyone else hear about this?
- article.
End goal -- CDC is a vaccine company pushing vacs making big bucks. Hopefully, Gates and his depopulation goals are hype. His college buddy, Fauci, was quite successful killing off thousands of AID vics (80s) not allowing tried/tested meds which are the therapeutics prescribed today to AID individuals.
They've controlled the sheeple via fear for the political agenda/coverups and continuing even now with the Delta variant which has a death rate of only .1% per UK or WHO stats - possibly even less. Respectable medical indicates there are therapeutics for the Delta variant as there were all along for COVID 19 but fraud prevented their use in order to have approval for experimental vacs. Law only allowed the 'experimental' jabs with no legal accountability if there were NO therapeutics. Evil prevails - always.
Hold on sheeple - there's more to come. In the meantime we're left dangling with fear/concern.
i have been to the city hundreds of times.
i’ve always loved the vitality of the city and no one could ever say that you could get bored in nyc.
i regularly went for business during the day and in the evenings go to local bars and restaurants as well as the village.
Bed bugs, Woken?! A friend that works at high end dept. store won a big trip (lodging, dinners, etc.) to NYC and the rats were running across the hotel room floor. She and husband had to relocate to another hotel.
I never experienced any negatives -- love the place but in no hurry to return now.

nonjws - I can't believe it - my friend here who has the beautiful Seattle condo hasn't been back since the COVID outbreak. She jumped a flight to return back here which is her main residence. So sad when it's so much cooler in Seattle and their children/grandies are in area. Have you been to Bainbridge Island? Oh my - I don't even mind waiting/riding the ferry across to it. So beautiful. If I lived there I'd eat the fish & chips every day at one of the famous restaurants at Pikes Market (forgot the name). I love the Aquarium down by the water front. I also love the art district down by the railroad tracks where all the metal art objects are along the landscape and all those cute, artsy, condos. I'd even take one of those (or would have) and walk back the blocks to the main city - seems like a lot of walking which is good!
I didn't see any homeless when I was there but a lot has changed and I know the protestors were outside their high-rise but don't think any damage was done.
I'm going to check out Tacoma - I had a great Aunt who lived there decades ago.
