even though I have been over this stuff many times over a long period of time it seems there is always something pops to mind. Looking at stephens last comment caused me to notice/brought back to mind, that although jw's believe in the holy spirit as God's active force there is more emphasis on the faithful and discreet slave (actually governing body) being used in communicating tham the Holy Spirit.

Guilt trip on R&F if you don't preach
by bobld inthere is a certain feeling in the air,that you must preach and to knock on doors.they like to as an example,if you know that there's a tornado or some bad weather is coming and you don't say anything or warn the people,you bear resonsibility for the lives lost.the wbts looks at it the same way.thus the gulit trip for not going from door to door.. now this is about as stupid as a queer in a whorehouse.the gb of the wbts should be guilty of not warning the people,by modern technology methods.they should be using,t.v.,radio,internet,satellite etc.not this bull dung of going from door to door.how would they like it if a tornado hit their new printery in wallkill,n.y.
and the government sent troops form door to door to warn their volunteer workers.how about their properties in brooklyn,n.y.
so don't give me this guilt story of preaching from door to door as the most effective.just look at the history of how many people lost their lives in the past due to tornados because they did not have the modern technology of warning people as compared to today.get off you high horse and if you think your message is so important to warn people than use the proper methods.. bob.

right on!! The door to door preaching and reporting of time is totally a conltrol tactic. Absolutely nothing to do with finding and using the best or most biblical method. Must go door to door and save lives or suffer bloodguilt. But oh!, just a minute Jehovah draws all who he sees as having a good or righteous heart condition. All must have the opportunity to make a personal decision. OOps! that doesn't make sense any more because time is running out with armageddon coming next week/month/etc. so suddenly the end does not depend on every person hearing just get the preaching work done to the level that Jehovah is good with.

reniaa. Thank you for commenting on my last post, but why did you not comment on the watchtower article I mentioned. In that article the society explains that Jesus emanated from Jehovah. If he "emanated" from Jehovah and Jehovah is devine does that not make Jesus devine. As I said in that post I believe you use things like the trinity because you feel you have a foot to stand on but avoid many other issues that the society has totally wrong. I have seen you admit many times the errors and misjudgements on their part, but than use the "they are just imperfect men " argument. I think the post by Mary is excellent and points out the futility of arguing the trinity "doctrine" because it is so ambiguous. As others have noted look at where the society has it wrong (John 1:1) a god for example and explain why they can.t get right.

Reniaa, if nothing else playing ping pong with you is fun. Much of what I have said is just to "play" with you, It doesn't matter what I or others would say pro trinity you will bring it down. I am quite sure if I were to insist that coal is black you would find a reference somewhere showing that they mine coal that is or appears to be white. As we know the word trinity is not found in the bible, and yet you try your best to prove the trinity is false. There are a number of treatises stating what the trinity doctrine really is, many religlions having their own twist, In each case you display the real motive is to support the (truth, society, Jehovah's witnesses, faithful and discreet slave, and finally governing body). I know this point is way off topic, but how did we go from the early days of a faithful and discreet slave made up of all those of the annointed alive today to a governing body of nine men, not only making no effort to reference the rest of the annointed but even today suggesting many must not be genuine because the number is going up instead of down. Interesting too is the fact that most of these annointed governing body members hail from after the use to be cut off date of 1935 (do you think maybe that is why the change in understanding?) Anyway my challlenge to you is to read Watchtower 56 9/1 pp. 530-531 pars. 16-18. Especially I would like you to forget the trinity doctrine for a minute and explain what it says in paragraph 18.
