However, all anointed Witnesses are deeply involved in the vital harvest work that is now taking place. As a class, "the faithful and discreet slave" is one body, but as individuals, they have various work assignments.

What would "various work assignments" involve for annointed women. I have to wonder how much time the gb members spend in the vital harvest work. It is stated a couple times how the gb "represents" the others of the faithful and descreet slave. Not sure how others feel, but I would not want someone who does not even consult with me, representing me. Would be like hiring a lawyer to represent me in a court of law, but he never bothers to even talk to me to see what I want or what are my feelings on the case at hand.

Yup. A neatly dressed man and honest to boot. Gotta be a JW. The one that cost me ten grand through theft and then on top of that his father who was an elder phoned me and tried to bully me out off testifying in court proves how honest they all are. I realize that the great majority are honest, but so are the majority of people in general.

If I did understand you, then why does the GB (I find those letters can encompass all the pseudonyms used by witnesses) say that ordinary folk like you and me cannot understand the bible without their disclosures and help. The GB does not agree with you or you with them, when you simplify natures and substances. You know, Jesus is a god but is not divine in nature. Reniaa: How do you come off on one level sounding (to me anyway) as having a modicum of intelligence and yet on another level as being dumb as a wall? Let's make it simple you say, there is this spirit stuff and this flesh stuff. Yup, real simple. Anyway, where in the start of this thread do you get the thought that, or problem is that Jesus is the almighty God. You see the word Trinity and go bezerk in your head. I think this thread goes to the point that the Witnesses have their own level of complexity of Jesus and God. But all you saw was the word trinity. I think too that your last post shows another problem you have, an "I" problem.

before i was severed from the borg, i noticed that they did seem to change their minds about suidice not being worthy of a resserrection.. mind you it was very very vague in an article... and everyone was saying " do they mean this?

" or "do they mean that?".

is anyone aware of the current stance?.

Reading the Questions From Readers . . . just emphasizes their double speak. After purporting on several different levels, their view on the matter, they are then and only then willing to leave it "up to God and Jesus". Why not say, we have no clue and must defer to God, Jesus, and the bible. But then where would the power be in that view.

To lady lee. The website referred to is the Yahoo site of the witlesses. That is why they had it wrong. This is not my take on it but that of the guy whose name I should probably not have included. Oh well..
