2009 DC Releases
by garlic81 infriday am during keynote address "the wonders of creation reveal god's glory" 32 minute dvd on creation available at the convention.
friday last talk "sing to jehovah" - new songbook with 135 songs, 42 which are new.
will start using in january 2010. cong will begin receiving them after september 1st.

I will make a quick comment, simply to say that I enjoy the coverage of the tower material this way to keep up with the nonsense. I realize that there are probably many like me who peruse the info without commenting, thus possibly giving the impression that their is not a lot following this weekly thread. But I am sure their are sufficient followers to make your efforts well worth the time. Just my thought for the day.

I do realize that they were not referencing John 1:1 Blondie. And thanks for the Info in the second post. What I have come to realize and the reason for my post is while I used to think it so open on their part to refer to other sources, I now realize it is just to avail themselves of easy copy for their articles, just pull stuff from other places. And while I used to be convinced of how "smart" they were I now realize that they are not even smart enough to notice a source they use to support them in one area totally refutes them in another.

by Hopscotch inin this public edition of the watchtower it uses an illustration of a piece of furniture to help explain why jehovah tolerated polygamy.. but the more interesting point i thought was the reasoning in the first paragraph in the second column about jehovah warning his people when they strayed from his standards.
it says "however, he knew in advance that his people would often fail to obey even the most basic of commands, such as the one against idolatry.
(exodus 32:9).

Disturbing Armageddon Picture On Pg.18 of This week's JW only Watchtower
by african GB Member init shows people running away crying, and fire balls coming from heaven, with angels firing arrows at them.. i really don't think this kind of picture is neccesary.. i don't know how to paste a picture here, i'd appreciate if someone could do it for everyone to see what i am talking about.. .

Yup, it's true alright. All worldly people (those that are not jw's) spend all their leisure time in cocktail lounges (on the right side) or triple XXX places on the Left of that horrible picture. Notice that the horseman at the top is shooting his arrow at someone on the top of the roof and the others are thundering by to catch more of the "infidels". The ones we see fleeing might survive yet, if that picture depicts how poorly things are organized. On second look it might be chaos caused by airforce one doing a slow fly over of New York city.
