I cannot find it on the site.
Go to JW.org, scroll down to the bottom and click "fine a meeting", then click convention.
i was just told there will be international conventions in canada in 2019. .
so i looked at jw.org and i see that there's a whole bunch of conventions now listed on the site for 2019.. isn't this odd?
normally we were told the location of conventions during the first week of january.. did they realize there was less in attendance in the 2018 conventions, and want to give ppl more time to make travel arrangements??
one of the recent threads on the talk about the hailstone message got me to thinking.
the problem with putting out a message like that is what to do when nothing happens.
i have to think that somebody will be asking that question.

If nothing happens, it just means it is still to happen and you don't want to be caught thinking it wont happen.
It has now been 140 years of them telling their followers that the end is just around the corner, and their followers are still putting faith in the end being just around the corner. So if WT say something will happen, means it will happen, just not in our lifetime, and the next generation will just continue believing these messages. That is unless new light overwrites these messages.
hi all.. personal experience.
attended a regional convention in melbourne australia.. saturday attendance,, 1,500 approx.. baptism,, 11. about 8 born ins ,,, all 8 under 20yo and 5 under 17.. 3 of the 11 appeared to be over 20 and are not born ins.. sounds about .8% increase ,,, kind of.. the outstanding part of the day was the continual reference to ' are you, can you do more'.
ha ha fear obligation guilt.. jtg.
We got our NZ one in 2 weeks. Will be interesting to see what numbers there are.

witnesses are used to saying that every other religion but their own makes up “false religion “....how would a devout witness handle being labeled as a member of a false religion??
?.
Depending who it was, but mainly it would be the death stare.
i have been out a good 10+ years and until recently didnt pay much attention to what the jehovahs are up to.. why have they taken this turn with the bunker videos and making all the brainwashed people like my parents pack a go bag.
now let me just clarify.
im a military man i believe everyone should have an element of preparedness canned goods, bottled water and a bug out bag is a great addition ( ill stop waffling on about that now).. but what concerns me is the fact they are advising elderly people to bug out.

We had a baby near death -wife in hospital with- elder not available as he was working on a part for the coming convention.
We had a very similar thing happen to us, we had a young child in hospital for 2 weeks and during that time it was very touch and go. At no point during that time did our group elder who lives less than 5mins from the hospital ever visit, only a few txt messages asking for updates. Not long after that when I finally asked to be removed from the ministry school, within a day, that elder contacted me and invited me to join him for a coffee at a cafe of my choice. Next day he was able to go out of his way to meet me, and there was no way he was going to talk me back into joining the school again.
angus stewart qc, senior counsel, has had a long and distinguished legal career, beginning with his passion for justice in south africa, fighting apartheid, then later working in the truth and reconciliation commission, and more recently acting as senior counsel in the case studies on jehovah's witnesses in the australian royal commission into institutional responses to child sexual abuse.
angus discusses, from his own personal point of view, and not representing the carc or the commissioners, what the journey was like, learning about the internal law and policy of watchtower society, how he became determined to stand for justice for all the victims and for the whole community of ex jehovah's witnesses and how he felt about the evidence being presented to him and the people presenting it.. interview by lara kaput and louise goode for jw community podcast.. https://jwcommunitypodcast.simplecast.fm/cf4d380d.
Thanks for making this interview available. I also enjoyed watching Augus and the ARC live.
there are many here who think they can infiltrate my web-site.
be warned that we administrators of jwtalk call the listed congregation on your application for membership in our site to verify if they know you!.
some of you have slipped through the cracks and got into our site, but rest assured, we will find you out and ban you!.
I'm signing up, where do I go?
it just amazes me how the clown factory at the borgs basilica in warwick could produce 8 clown popes that act like self-licking ice cream cones and the jdubs take them so seriously.
if the popes said that they were going to have a bible signing session at a king dumb hall 8 hours away that so many jdubs would make the trip the town would be swamped with traffic.. you know what is truly sad is when during jdub public prayers, the governing body gets more praise than the head of the congregation.
all jesus gets is the final "in jesus name.".
A recent public talk done at our KH by an MS used more quotes taken from JW broadcasting, quoting from the GB and their helpers to back up what he was saying, than the Bible! I found it to be out of place, strange and just plain wrong, but I'm guessing every JW listening would have lapped it up without question.
