  C of E Abuse Report. Contrast with JW org !

  note this report covers cases going back to 1949, they uncovered 400. if j.w's in the u.k did a similar, thorough trawl of all congregation records going back that far, let's pretend they haven't destroyed most of them, we know they have, but just pretend they are all available, how many cases of abuse would they uncover ?

  in a much smaller org ?.

  maybe the file destruction that has gone on was to protect the org.

  Looks like we will be getting the "Do not listen to Satans Media talk, they publish lies about jehovahs people, etc". How sad it would be if we were to believe in these lies and lose faith in God's organization.

  Getting rid of old Watchtower books.

  anyone in the orange county or la area want some old watchtower books that i want to get rid of.

  i bought them when i first left the tower to look things up.

  they've been sitting around garages or my shed for 30 plus years.

  Witnesses themselves are now discouraged from owning these other publication's. I was pressured to destroy my good sized library of books i had saved since the 80's by Witnesses.

  a lot of my ex fellow servants must be now in their seventies, what can you do?.

  no children no money no home.

  it is so sad.. so many decided not to have children as the end was right around the corner and that was decades ago.

  I know witnesses who preached that the end is so close that any JW who has a retirement savings in place, then they don't have faith in Jehovah's promises, and that the end will clearly happen within 10 years. That was 30 years ago now. Out of those ones that are still alive, they now deny ever saying that, and you guessed it. They are still telling us the the end is so close.

  Are Jehovah’s Witnesses softening their view of Faders?

  so my in-laws actually went out to dinner with us today.

  normally, since leaving in 2016, they wouldn’t eat with us or talk much to me.

  (since i did convince their daughter to leave the cult).

  I would say it appears to be more of a personal choice with the witnesses has to their contacts with DF family. WT are still saying no association with these ones, but i know of Elders who are not only spending time with their dfed family, they are open to letting you know that they are seeing them. Of course its ok to do this if you are trying to rekindle their interest in the truth.
