Bro Lett at the recent special talk given from the Australasian branch mentioned the year 1975. I think it was in regards to keeping up with jehovahs organization and not holding on to old beliefs. Right at the beginning of this special talk we were told no audio recordings to be made, so I can't recall the fine details on why he used 1975.

Another kingdom hall up for sale
by pepperheart inhi another kingsom hall is up for sale if you look in the rightmove property website and look for bradford in the uk you will see that its priced at £170,000.. but why should they need to be selling a kingdom hall off espically when they are not printing about 50 million magazines a month they vant be that short of money can they ?

And another one. This one was a quick build in the mid 1990's to seat approx 60. At that time there were around 15 publishers, this hall was built to handle the expected increase before the end. Today there are approximately 5 publishers left.

At this stage i havnt heard of any local witnesses using these apps, the go to app used here is "what's app". And that covers everything they seem to need.
I have just installed New World Publisher (NW Publisher) to take a look. First thing it asks for is a congregation ID and pin, and if you don't know it, contact the local elders to get it. Are these IDs and pins something JW.org use? I'm sure if I was to ask a local elder for the likes of these codes, they would not know them and ask why I wanting them? If I tell them i want to install New World Publisher (NW Publisher) app, I would be quickly questioned over what that app is and what I was doing.
I have uninstalled this app, unless someone knows some ids and pins?

In the spirit of Christmas
by no-zombie inon this auspicious day, i'd like to propose a question (half in fun and the other half not) to ask, ... if the governing body reviewed the origins of christmas and now proclaimed that it was now a matter of conscience, how many of the brotherhood would pick it up and start practicing it?.
for me, i think that very, very few would take issue of the change and disassociate themselves.
yes, many would question it in their minds for a while but since it would be a governing body sanctioned holiday, i think a very surprising large number would do so with zeal ... particularly in europe, were it still has wholesome family traditions.

when you boss kindly give you a box chocolates, for you efforts over the year.
Already no issues with accepting end if year work gifts in my area, because that's all it is, a thank you gift for your efforts over the year. However, too give a gift in return to your boss or non witness clients for the years work, well this would not to done, because this could be viewed as a Christmas related gift and we wouldn't want anyone to be stumbled.

... and I think that you'd be surprised how quickly it would be accepted by the rank-and-file.
Just like how quickly accepting the beard change was taken up, the excitement over how this has been clarified and now all are now wondering which brothers will be first to grow a beard, which brother will be first to give a talk at an assembly or convention sporting a beard. Exciting times....
