  Why haven't they re-started the 'cart witnessing'?

  we are nearly 18 months into this pandemic and lot has been learned and our behaviour modified to make things safer for us, e.g.

  the wearing of face masks and social distancing.. many countries such as australia, new zealand, the uk and usa either have things under control or have vaccinated a large portion of the population.

  therefore, given the very passive nature of the 'cart witnessing', i can't see why this hasn't be re-started.

  About 6 months ago our congregation slipped up by announcing that cart witnessing was all go again, read out a list of rules that you had to met to be able to use the carts. Week later they had to make a reverse announcement saying the cart witnessing has not been approved yet.

  i woke up early in life.

  it’s not because i was smarter than my brothers and sisters.

  in fact, reflecting back, i actually don’t know why i didn’t embrace the watchtower teachings?

  I woke up just before the internet came along, it was thanks to WTs very own pre 1930 publications that cleared it up for me, the history lessons that we learnt about the organization during the 1990's WT studies, then to read the early publication's to discover the real history of the organization.

  Double Speak from last night's CLAM

  now that there are no meetings to physically attend, i am in a position where i listen in to my wife's zoom calls.

  i thought some of the ideas in last week's clam were a bit strange, for instance they harped on about being 'friendly' to non-jws but not to become 'friends' with them.

  the poignant question being put to the audience; 'what is the difference between being friendly to an unbeliever and being his friend?'.

  Havnt i been told that the media is controlled by Satan? And Satan wants to bring reproach upon Jehovah's people with all kinds of slanderous lies. Of course the JW community around where he is will support him, because they know the truth behind the lies that the media publish in this time of the end. Sad 😥.

  Headship and WT's Changed Understanding

  i don't think anyone has mentioned that the february 2021 study wt (p. 15, 16; par.

  8) changed wt's long standing view on headship within the congregation.

  wt used to view all baptized males as being the head of all baptized sisters.. this view led to such absurdities as a sister having to wear a head covering on a bible study because her baptized 10 year old son was sitting in on the study with her.

  Is this no long the case? I was semi listening in to this study but didn't pick up on this if it has changed? They still mentioned that if a sister was in a teaching role , she had to wear a head covering.

  Procedure Question Involving GB to Make JWs Think

  since leaving the jws the governing body upgraded their status to being the "faithful & discreet slave".

  in a sense, the gb declared themselves the 8 popes of wallkill.

  absolute, unquestioning loyalty to the gb has become the central belief of the watchtower and declared the only source of salvation for the "great crowd".. the gb has instructed their followers to believe what they say and only believe what they say.
