  I'll check it out. I used to subscribe until a few years ago when I ran out of places to put them.

  I have a collection of hundreds that belonged to my grandfather. Most are in black & white though...

  They were going to be thrown away after his house was sold.

  How'd you make out with that? And pretty sure it was the same guy who posted last night, but I don't remember the thread. I believe he joined in 2001....but I was half asleep so I could be wrong.

  i've been thinking, if the jws won't allow smoking, excessive drinking, or the alteration of the outer body, do they also have rules about caloric, saturated fat, transfat, and sodium intake?

  these things can be just as harmful to the body in the long run.

  Could it be because a lot of elders are complete fatasses? Or are married to plump women? Me thinks so!

  You're probably right; just about every elder at my old Hall could stand to lose a few pounds. This may be a good question to ask one of them: "Why is it that you're not allowed to smoke, but you're free to stuff your face with unlimited amounts Big Macs and Twinkies?"

  Anyone tried Yahoo groups?

  i've just been messing around on the net with yahoo groups.

  there's some interesting ones on there for ex-witnesses, although lots of "dead" groups with no activity.

  anyone got any experience of starting one (not necessarily ex-witness related - anything).

  It's easy to start a group.

  Just make sure that the members MUST contact you before joining. If you make it a completely free group where anyone can join at any given time, you'll have so many low-life spammers signing up that your head will spin.
