in case you've been wondering (and since i haven't been on - no power obviously), the damage down here in fort lauderdale is quite extensive.
i've been hearing from others that the media has been downplaying the severity of the the hit - but for those of us going through it, it was quite impressive.

Were you stoned when you studied for these tests?
STUDY FOR TESTS?? I never had time to study anything secular when I was outside of the school environment. No way, I was way too busy "underlining my Watchtower or Revalations book" or preparing for a talk because sister so and so had some sudden onset illness and was not going to the meeting that week!
But seriously, yes, I was under the influence when I was learning the material. I did fail to mention what really struck me was the fact that my yearly average for Biology was WAY higher than Algebra. The score I recieved on the Bio final really hacked the teacher off! The whole "you weren't applying yourself" speech!

REGARDING THE ISSUE OF IQ
I was a "pot head" (wake-n-bake/lie-n-fry) for a good number of years. I even went to meetings stoned, it made them easier to bear.....
When you smoke pot consistently for a long period of time, IQ becomes relative. The brain seems to develop 2 individual IQ's, stoned IQ and sober IQ.
The difference between the two is that things you learn when you are REALLY stoned are truly difficult to recall when you are sober.
For example, I would come home from a party, high out of my mind, and hide my weed. I told myself "ok, self, you hid your weed here, don't forget!" When I got up the next day, I could never remember what the heck I did with my stash! So, off to a friends house, burn a lil THC and BAM!! I would remember what I had done with my stash.
I was in high school at the time, going to school high all day, all year. I was high when I took my advanced algebra final exam and aced it, sober when I took my biology final and failed miserably.
How does this all realte to cancer? It doesn't, I'm probably off topic, but I wanted to tell my little tale
