it started here around 2 this afternoon, steady snowfall, beautiful otuside. Just walked my dog in the woods, so quiet... Good I don't have to drive anywhere tonight ! Stay warm !

Hello to all who knew me...
by Joyzabel inas i sit here addressing my xmas cards for this year and think of all the people who have helped me on my jouney this past 7 years and especially the past 3, i thought i would post a thread letting people who knew me know how i am and what i have been up to this past year.. .
it will soon be 2 years since i moved from florida to atlanta, ga. even though it was going back to full time work, i love my job and am glad i have one.. .
i acknowledge that my therapy has helped me to get my mind untangled from being raised in a high control group and from being married to an alcoholic.

We met in Weston-super-Mare 3 years ago. You do all the things I should be doing but don't find the time to do and won't do because I have no buddy who wants to do those things with me : You dance and ride your bike and sail... I should be hiking, jogging, traveling....

It took me 48 years to reach this conclusion but I am so relieved to have finally understood that very little good comes of it. Join the YMCA, the PTA, any other group of humans that does good works but more evil has been done in the name of organized religion than any single human being could of his own volition. How sad! How incredibly sad.

Please don't consider the Williams' sisters representative of all Witnesses. And if you have questions about why we do or do not do certain things, talk to one of us personally when we knock on your door.

YES !!! We all have been waiting for years for this announcement ! I will buy your book Farkel. What about something like: "The truth about Watchtower lies" for the title. Have you read the book "Apocalypse WOW! by James Finn Garner - The chapter dealing with end of the world predictions by Jehovah's Witnesses is titled : "The haberdasher who cried wolf" - that book is a riot. This is wonderful news ! I want a kiss too (pout)

Bird Owners: Avian Roll Call

i should re-word it, because they seem to 'own' us.. i have 3 birds: 1 female cockatiel (a rescued footless darling) called, nimh; 2 female budgies (1 rescued) named, baby and blue.
2 years ago you may remember i had a budgie named: busy.

10 chickens, 1 rooster and a Gander....
I love birds. I once had a tame quail. He slept on top of the dresser in our bedroom, woke us up early in the morning with his wake-up call. Watched TV with us, usually on top of my head.... Jumped on the table when we had breakfast and drank orange juice out of our glasses... He flew up to get to our bedroom, but walked down each step to get back downstairs...

Have you found Jesus since you left the wts?
by real one inleaving the society was scary at first but i had to make myself grin and bear it.
i have renewed my relationship with christ and i am looking foward to his wonderful blessings in my future.
now that i am finally worshipping him in spirit and truth and i have the hope of going to heaven someday.
