  About To Read Some Apostate Stuff.

  i just purchased, at amazon.com, and i am anxiously awaiting the arrival of, two of raymond franz's books, crisis of conscience and the other one .

  christian freedom i think it was called.

  for those who have read them; would you please give some sort of brief review of these books and rate them either "

  CoC is a must read for anyone even remotely connected with the JWs.

  ISoCF is great too, there is a chapter in there telling about the effects of shunning.

  Abortion, and the population explosion, what your veiw.

  one of the very real dangers that we face today is the population explosion.

  i read that the world's population "now" doubles about every 40 years,

  this explosive rate is like cancer,, that no longer follows the proper cell multiplication arrangement in the body and threatens the life of the organism.

  Abaddon expressed my thoughts exactly. Parents should know better, they were teenagers once too... Talk to your kids about sex. They will all do it anyway, sooner or later. So allow them to do it safely. Give the pill to your daughters and condoms to your sons.

  The day I see orphanages set up by these people, when I see people opposed to abortion signing up to adopt babies, when I see programs for women who decide to give up for adoption a child they have conceived accidentally that ensure they are supported during their pregnancy when they can no longer work, then I will believe that they care about the unborn more than forcing other people to follow their beliefs, as these actions would have an immediate affect on those they claim to care

  thought it might be a card celebrating our disfellowshipping this time last year.

  Since I've decided to turn my life around I've distanced myself from all my old friends and now I find that I dont really have any at all.

  Are you saying that you are studying with the JWs and want to become one ? Maybe you need to turn your life around, but there are hundreds of ways to turn your life around without becoming a member of a very destructive cult.... Stick around, you will get many answers, I am sure. Great people in here.

  i don't know what eles to call it , i guess it is the user name....lol.......so what does yours mean?.

  i think awhile back i might have asked this,,,,,,,but it was way back and so many new ones here that i am just getting to know, and ones who came in here while i was not here as much.

  there may be a thread on this in the last recent months, i am not sure,,,,if so, if there are any new ones who want to tell why they choose their user names,,,,,please do.. i will tell you why my name is lyineyes,,,,,many have asked me that here lately.

  so do you brown bag it, skip it, drink coffee instead, take out or dine out?.

  i love to go out for lunch...... we have good mexican restaurants around here and sushi bars.

  we also have a bbq here at work and we will make grocery runs so we can bbq up some nice steaks!

  i live in a new england style house (salt box) with wood siding.

  i have a great room with 3 skylights 4x4 and a balcony over looking the livingroom.
