i went to the local jw church and told them that if they didn't communicate with thier "hierarchy" and get jon's father to stop spending every night in his car on the street outside of my house that i was going to file suit, first against him, then against the crazy organization that seems to sanction his actions.

that man has been outside of my house every damn night and i finally figured out that since the local cops couldn't seem to do anything about it i would.. the other night i sat out on my front porch and waited for him to park his car across the street.

Help!! How can you make a witness tell the truth?

i'm talking the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth about their organization---up front, not subtly creeping it in.

two of them caught me by surprise this morning at my door (nobody here knows me from adam) offering the awake magazine on battered women.

i was incredulous, having had experience with being a battered woman and a witness all at the same time.

In the leaflet I am thinking about putting together, I'd like to have on the left side, say, 10 things that are unique to JWs, and opposite, on the right side, what it really means...
mmmmmmm.... well, let's see...

Child abuse - Jehovah, Jesus, HS, and GB

there is one aspect that seems to be missing totally from the subject of child abuse.. the watchtower has up through the years told us time and time again how those 4, jehovah, jesus, holy spirit and the gb has appointed elders as gifts to the congregations of jehovah's witnesses.. back in the fifties, the watchtower society was very honest and open about who really appointed the watchtower elders:.

*** jv 54 5 proclaiming the lord's return (1870-1914) ***.

back then, it was customary for the congregations to vote each year for those who would preside among them.

I've been thinking for a while now about writing a short essay, or a list of things the JWs don't tell you when they come to your door...
THINGS JEHOVAH'S WITNESSES WON'T TELL YOU
LYING BY OMISSION
JW'S : WHAT THEY TELL YOU, WHAT THEY DON'T

and distribute it to my neighbors and publish it as a letter to the editor in local newspapers...

Something like that. Just no time right now to put it together.
But I will, I hope soon.

WHERE THE CHILDREN PLAY

in this part of the country,i live in the bible belt(lucky me).anyway i`m driving down the street and there is church after church after church(they all have lots of windows)..ect..in the church parking lots are kids playing,road hockey,skate boards,roller blades,you name it they were playing it.laughing,having a good time,enjoying their lives.apperently the churchs dont mind the neighborhood kids playing in their yards.up the road on the same street is the kingdom hall.no windows,parking lot barecaded off with a chain link fence and large gate.the kids were playing in all the church yards but not this one,they were`nt welcome.i saw a couple of kids come out of the hall but they didnt look like they were having fun.some times life plays out in front of you and the truth is there for all to see.

No windows at all in Kingdom Halls ?
They won't let the Light in ? or what ?

As for the children, isn't it amazing ?
I've been to different churches for service, and the little children sometimes fall asleep, cry, laugh, get up and walk around, or draw in a coloring book, nobody take them out for a spanking !
