seems like when i was a kid, you could'nt go to a meeting without hearing screams of pain from either the b room or the bathrooms.
once took a wooden spoon away from a sister using it on her child's bare bottom, full of bruises. I broke the spoon and handed it back to her. She switched congregations right after that.....was it me? I bet she wondered why she got investigated by child services.
Blondie : Not an easy thing to do, to get involved when you see a parent abuse a child.... but certainly the right thing to do. I applaud you.

I missed a big part of the show at the beginning. Couldn't make my sound work... (plug it it, you dummy).... I wished someone would have talked about how JW parents are expected to shun their own children, children to shun their own parents, and how families are torn apart. Cathy did. It should have been emphazised that the WTS website insists that disfellowshiping doesn't severe family ties.... yeah, right! Also, the WTS affirms that anyone can quit being a JW without any repercussions... They are such liars, manipulators, creeps.

The thing is, the Watch Tower's doctrines are taught as the Truth, the only true interpretation of the Bible texts. Either their 1914 doctrine is true or it is a lie.... If your research points to it being a lie, why wouldn't you worry about the Watch Tower Society's doctrines? You should care about a false doctrine. You have a brain, and are allowed to use it.
What is the good news again ? 99.9 % of the world population being slaughtered at Armageddon ? Oh yes, what a privilege it is to go to strangers' doors and tell them to convert or else...
