  crimes against fashion. ah, yes, thanks for askin...

  im real tired of seeing gypsy skirts, boho, and sequins sewn all over stuff as if that makes it somehow instantly better. and the cowbow boots trend, and those uggs, ...ew. basically anything trendy is a crime of real fashion for me. if half of the world pop is also wearing the same thing its time to revolt.

  also, it should be a crime to wear clothes that do not make sense or inappropriate for the occasion.

  Are birthdays now a "conscience matter" for JWs?

  a few months ago my jw sister emailed me out of the blue asking for me to suggest a good telescope for her little girl (about 12, but i'm not sure).

  my niece has had a strong interest in science since she was very little and my sister is trying to encourage her.

  if you are wondering, yes, my sister and her jw husband do shun me... so basically she got the info she needed and then disappeared again.

  i've heard stories to this effect...bdays being a conscience matter. i asked my mom about it and she laughed and said no and it was almost like she wanted to know who was celebrating their bdays. she wanted names?

  but i am convinced that they are more hardcore in pittsburgh because thats where taz and this entire crazy movement started. they tend to keep it real. (real insane)

  Are you honest when you say your age?

  i know people who don't say their real age, like take off 2 or 3 years.... my mom looks younger than her age, so she sometimes took off a few years.

  gee, i'm just the opposite, i rather say my real age, and wait for a compliment saying "hey you look good for your age".

  I dont lie ...yet. when i tell my 18 year old classmates my age they are shocked. they think i am like one of them and ask which high school im from. im like, uh, look kid, i am old enough to be your older sister.

  flyinghigh, frannie, peaches..heck all of you gals look like spring chicks!!! pretty amazing. coming out of the tower must really revitalize us girls because we look so darn good for our ages. lol.

  Low Low Low Self Esteem

  man, if i don't solve this problem i'm gonna be dead one way or another.. i know i need to build self esteem.

  i am focusing on bringing things into my life that i find real fulfillment in.. i had little fulfillment as a witness.

  really only the pleasure i got from bible studies, of which i really only had about 10 real ones of.

  aw, cheer up, joelbear. im having a shitty day too. but im sure it will pass if you keep your efforts up, so dont let it spoil your self esteem. forget about your past and realize that you are not tied to it and each day forward you are joelbear, newly confident and lucky to be alive.

  why is it that each time my cat poops in her litter box she runs around the apartment full speed afterwards as if she pulled a trick on me?.

  why is it that my cat wants me to put more food in her bowl even though is's half full?

  and then once i do, she looks contented that the bowl is full, but doesn't eat any...

  < 20lbs. i've tried exercising him w. a laser pointer but he just walks right past it.

  oy. he would be so humiliated if he knew I posted such an unflattering photo of him on the world wide web. hehe. he looks a little more dignified here.

  i guess short hair persians are always on the big side. he may be doomed to a life of biggieness.

  An oil pastel for Robdar and this forum

  when i first found this forum it was a year after september 11. i had recently seen the dateline special on the pedofiles in the organization and was completely dismayed.

  everyone on this board has inspired me through the last couple or so years, especially robdar.

  she told me to start doing my artwork again to express my thoughts.. here is something i did when i was younger, but scanned it in to the computer and in photoshop and retouched it some.

  i have tried working w. oil paints so i can appreciate the level of talent your painting reflects. my one dimensional paintings of birds and flowers are not um, quite that good. but it is such a wonderful creative outlet at any level.

  I filled up today because the price of gas has gone down! I only paid $1.07 per litre!!! Down from around $1.30!!!

  It still cost me $78 to fill up.

  i was in BC the other day and saw a price of 1.80 for gas and thought yeah, this is so much cheaper than wa. state!!! ive gotta fill up and get rid of some of this canadian dough. only i didnt realize that was per liter and not gallon. it cost twice as much. doh.
