Media Dept London HQ - UN Letter
by Celtic inhawk was most helpful in supplying letter to the board here a day or so ago re: wtbts membership of dpi un.. i rang the media department in london today who said that they were well aware of the letter and its contents.. asked why the organisation seems to be in contradiction to its litureture the wt and awake, concerning the beast of revelation, i was told by the department that the society has never been affiliated to the un.
the only reason why they belonged to the dpi was to access their, (the un), library resources.. i asked if the comments (non-affiliation) could be sent to me via email.
i was told that that was not nessarsary as the un had already supplied information.

I think that the suggestion that you have proffered here is so true.
The WT organisation know that our collective community is quite disorganised at times and that this information will get swamped by other data.
To set some of these other matters apart I see as totally a good thing, and the potential then for others to access the given info would be that much greater in its effectiveness to bring to the publics attention the motives of this organisation.
Good thinking!! Try suggesting this to Kent at Watchtower Observer, see what he has to say, or speak to Simon who runs this board for his suggestions.

by Celtic inhow long i have wished to accompany a few others in arming ourselves with a digital camcorder and then proceeding to ask the hq some rather pointed questions face to face at the hq.. if anyone is interested in pursuing this action, would you please let me know at the earliest opportunity?.
i just think that regardless of the outcome, the video clip would be most interesting to place upon the internet afterwards.. also, if anyone else would be interested in non violent direct action and/or protest in london or elsewhere, please do not hesitate to get in touch.. armed with the right kind of questions and backup to data i really believe an alternative media outfit such as this might really provide some interesting results.. also, how about uk side we set up an independent development trust to spear our objectives forwards, applications to funding etc?

On that technicality I wish to refer to the Nov 1st article in the Watchtower 2001 page 27-30.
Here within these pages is a very simple solicitation for funds from all and sundry, publishers and householders alike. Surely, although the method might be different, the desired outcome of the organisation remains the same, i.e. getting money out of people.
Would this possibly be enough to take back to the charity commission via English Court Law to enforce carrying of Identification Cards?
Any assistance from UK side, or from those experienced in UK law for email to charity commission would be most helpful.

I asked if the comments (non-affiliation) could be sent to me via email. I was told that that was not nessarsary as the UN had already supplied information. I then replied that as they have already admitted the contents of the letter to be true over the phone to me, would they please now do so in writing. A refusal was given.
