Advice anyone? On how men think and faithfulness.

this may be kind of a long story but any input or advice would be really appreciated.. i have been married for three years to a really good guy.

he's my best friend and confidante.

not the most spontaneous person i have ever met (he says it is because he is very comfortable in the relationship).

Had the same situation happen to me. My wife and I were best friends with this couple for years. They were going through a rough time and eventually got divorced. Well, I always suspected that my wife and my friend had some sort of attraction for each other. One friday I came home from work and my wife was nowhere to be found. Now I'm wondering, what's going on here. I call my friend.......no answer. Bottom line, they took off together for a weekend. You've got to be carefull, you could be playing a dangerous game. Oh,,the wife? I got rid of her. And my friend? He came sooo close to being the target of a blanket party. That was 11 years ago. It all worked out in the end for me. I am now married to a beautiful woman and soul mate.

A Similar thing happened to me not to long ago....I walked into Honey Dew Donuts one night after work and waited at the counter to buy a coffee. The person behind the counter was talking on their cell phone. I was the only customer there, he sees me and keeps talking. Well I waited patiently for about 3 minutes and then I start to walk out, as I was leaving, He yells out " can I help You? " So I yelled back, " There are too many other places that serve coffee "

i have had a quick look and found no references to this, so - here goes..as in the mag we picked up on sunday.. worldwide % increase over 2004 = 1.3%.

memorial partakers 8524 (compared to 8570 in 2004).

most european and nth american lands show pretty static figs - britain 1% increase, canada 0%, germany 0%, france 1%, usa 0%... but spare a thought for the inhabitants of zambia where 1 person in 90 is a reporting witness, must be hell going down to the local market!

The Witnesses do tolerate child sexual abuse ! The elders have a Fiduciary responsibility to protect the flock they are watching over. However,,it's hush hush when they are told of abuse that has taken place! Don't tell anyone that brother so&so is a child molester. What the hell is this code of silence? Why is it that a child molester can be sitting right next to you at a meeting and you wouldn't know about it until you find out later that he molested one of your children? Is that protecting the flock? Where in the bible does it say to keep quiet about child molesters in our midst? I am so glad that I am done with that Disgusting organization !!!! They don't even admit there is a problem.

My eyes were trying to open all the time when I was a dub. The Borg kept trying to keep them close. The religion is stupid. I am glad that I'm no longer a drone that gets conditioned 5 times a week !!!

WTBS--What's the motive?

my sister and i have speculated for quite some time about the possible motives of the gb and all others in charge of the wtbs, i.e., their raison d'etre, so to speak.

after finding out about some of the history of the wtbs and the supposed f&ds, i realized that they weren't god's spokepeople on earth.

but, then, what's their motive for all the work they're doing in the organization?

Is the Watchtower Society strong enough to win this war with the internet?

could it be that the wts actually thinks it can win this war?

i mean, they are forcing sites to close down, suing the people that run them etc.

i wonder if this is the way they want to "handle" the internet problem.

As far as I can see it,,,the Watchtower may have the means and the strength to win the war with the internet but they do not have the intelligence. They have demonized the internet but have their own website. When I have the oportunity to speak to a witness and mention that the Watchtower has it's own site, they give me the deer in the headlights look. Most of the rank & file don't even know that the Borg has their own sight. I give them the Watchtowers www adress and tell them to go look it up. Once their on the web, it's only a matter of time before they start to think.
