  Chocolate & Wine Experience - talk about Indulgence!

  tonight i've been invited into the country to expereince a chocolate & wine evening.. "" join us for the waterford & wine expereince where executive chef, leanne roberts, will pair a 5 course tasting menu with wines from this estate..." mmmm mmmm mmmm.

  got to go take pics for 'my' magazine - oh life is sooo hard darling.. tomorrow we are going to check out the local pubs in the area and sample som home brew with names like pickled possum, tiddley toad.

  When I was thinking about application of that and what such profound ideas can do to many lives on even this board one realization really struck me. As j-dubs our thoughts were locked in an illusive future that would never come as ex-dubs we might find our thoughts being locked in a past that won’t go away. But what really matters is now moment, which might be impossible to fully appreciate or enjoy for that matter if we live in kind of a limbo between two extremes. Very interesting isn’t it?

  The fact is there are nutcases in any religion. But more important question is, where is the greatest concentration of them when you look at percentages.

  I sincerely doubt there are many religions that can compare to witnesses in that respect. I'm yet to see so many nutcases in one place who strangely somehow believe they deserve to live forever and all those they gossip at Watchtower on Sundays deserve to die. What a "Godly people"

  I met with a surgeon yesterday about blood - wow

  i was asked by a friend to go with an older sister yesterday to the hospital to talk with her surgeon about her upcoming major surgery.

  hospital liason committee told her to watch the society's video on blood, and if she can't get her surgeon to agree on non-blood treatments, then they will help.

  it was the weirdest experience of my life.

  She said she was happy to be faithful to Jehovah and even if she dies thats ok. And that so many doctors can test your faith because they dont care about God's laws.

  Ahh, ditto, what a way of reasoning, I've seen this before first hand, I better not even comment.... So I guess if they rolled her out of hospital in a wheelchair and left her to die there that would be quite alright by her. I wonder why she even came to hospital could have just gracefully died at home without all the bullshit. Beauty of witness thinking, The sad part of it is that they are toying with their lives by throwing stupid comments like that, living in their heads somehow believing their case will be special and “heavenly armies” will come to their rescue.

  Man Goes In Hospital For Circumcision, Docs Remove Penis Instead!

  a kentucky man went into the hospital for the procedure only to realize the doctors amputated his penis instead!

  the kentucky man was told afterward that cancer was noticed and because of that, the doctors decided to simply remove the appendage.

  they are being properly sued.

  i hope this link works but there has been virtually no sunspot activity since the beginning of this year and the suns magnetic field is down 60%.. if this link does not work, you might like to try googling: sunspot activity 2008 iceage.. the last time this happened we moved into a little ice age which lasted from 1100 to 1800.. global warming lies may well have met their match with reality.. so how will they tax us for the 'ice age?

  do we get our tax back that we paid because of 'global warming'.. is this why they have made fuel so expensive....because they know what is coming and they want to make a killing?.

  This is already well-developed discussion that I didn’t follow from the beginning so I hope I’m forgiven if I repeat some points already raised. That said I will first focus on some of very interesting questions raised by Gill.

  Should global temperature fall again for 2008 and then again for 2009, and then again perhaps for 2010 etc when will it become 'unequivocal' that global temperature has not occurred inevitably and irreversably?

  At what point will you say, perhaps something else is happening, after all, we haven't stopped producing CO2, so what is making the world temperature fall?

  Indeed you are correct; something else is also going on, but instead of going into excreting details perhaps it would be easier at this junction to point you to this documentary.

  What is interesting is that there is not LESS ice as we have been told, but MORE and also it was reported by scientists in the Independent Newspaper, ( I can't find it but will continue to search) that the melting of the ice in the Arctic is due to underground volcanic activity.

  I would be extremely careful to quote any “scientist” no matter who they are if they haven’t posted their opinion in peer-reviewed journal. If their opinion cannot stand the scientific scrutiny then it is pointless to even give it a second glance, otherwise we might find ourselves quoting things such as National Enquirer. Science does not operate on cute ideas but on hard data. The question is then do hard data show shrinkage of ice all over the world and not only in one spot. So lets focus on glaciers. What do data show?

  Speaking of Arctic underwater volcanic activities, indeed recently it has been reported in Nature magazine that at the depth of 4000 meters there were evidences of eruptions. But if you read that article again you will see it doesn't claim it is something that was only happening in recent times, it is just that we have only discovered it recently. And another very important conclusion was this volcanic activity was NOT contributing to melting of Arctic ice. It probably did contribute to release of CO2, however the extent of which seem very uncertain at this point.
