Yes, but first and foremost initial news reports are supposed to be about facts, editorials are supposed to come after careful analysis once more of a story has been uncovered.
I suggest you do some more research however because Pink news seem to have done a number of articles on the subject, is calling these acts brutal slaughters by Isis thugs more to your liking? I would suggest that all of the articles I have read on their site so far show similar levels of restraint in the language they use both to describe Isis thugs, the proposed Muslim ban and racist brexit ads. But don't let a silly little thing like facts get in the way of your outrage.

That is what a journalist is supposed to do, it is up to the reader to decide their own reaction not for the journalist to dictate, within journalism it is the path usually taken when reporting the most egregious acts as it is usually unnecessary to point out the horror when extreme stories are being reported.

Since the slightest research reveals that neither of your two statements are correct, can we assume that you are now happy with their consistent reporting of facts inline with common reporting norms.

This is exactly the sort of thing that is said by every generation, I have no doubt that Terry's dad had much the same thing to say about Terry's music. No doubt his grandfather also said the same about his dad's taste in music.
Yes, some music is crap and vapid. It has always been this way and always will. The artists that put out good music that stands the test of time are few and far between.
What changes is our willingness to hunt down the good stuff, it takes time and effort to find the gems.

Lets look at the facts and figures rather than appeals to fear and paranoia, one of the figures quoted in this thread is that 8% of muslims are extremists. I don't agree with that figure but suppose it is correct that would mean that there are over 200,000 muslim extremists in the UK.
According to the UK Government the security services here foiled seven terrorist plots last year, in addition there was a single terrorist incident in London last year where someone was stabbed.
This would suggest that either muslim terrorists are incredibly lazy and unmotivated or the quoted percentage is incredibly exaggerated. I suspect the latter.
Islam is no more peaceful than any other religion, criticizing sharia law is a good thing, criticizing religious ideas is something I do all the time. Should the security services be vigilant for islamic terrorists? Of course, nobody is blind to the very real threat that handful of terrorists pose.
We are saying that muslims in general are not peaceful and not desirable considering their views on our values.
maybe its time they admit that the religion is radical in nature and that gives them a vast network of "non-radicals" who actually help and support their cause.
What I don't do is tar and feather all members of a religion due to the actions of a tiny minority. You aren't criticizing bad ideas, you are arguing that all muslims are either terrorists or sympathizers. I think this sort of black and white thinking (Trump 'politics') is stupid and illogical.
You think I should be ashamed for criticizing Islam and their horrible human rights violating ideas, I think they should be ashamed for their ideas about the world around them. That is what is most dangerous
That isn't what I said at all, I criticize Islam for its theology all the time, what you should be ashamed for is assuming that all muslims (they are people just like you and I) can be lumped in with a very real threat like ISIS. I will never say the religious ideas cant be criticised.
Nobody answered my question, if muslims are either terrorists or sympathizers what does anyone suggest we do? Round them up? After all you can't watch all of them.

What a load of rubbish, you should all be ashamed of yourselves. Every single one of the fear mongering points you have made have been debunked so many times it is ridiculous. The average muslim has exactly the same opinion of terrorism that anyone else does. It is a tiny minority of fundamentalists that commit acts of terrorism. They are no more responsible for terrorism than the average right winger is responsible for Anders Breivik or Robert Dear.
Personally as an atheist I think people have a right to practice their religion, the fact that there has been atrocities and genocide committed by atheists doesn't make me responsible for those either.
The cold hard facts are that if what you were saying is true then considering the millions of muslims there are in the world then there should be thousands of terrorist acts in nearly every country in the world every day.
Despite your claim that people who disagree with you are emotional and touchy feely is very hypocritical when your entire set of posts is based on fear, hysteria and paranoia, I think you should stop being so emotional and look at the facts and figures. Look up what percentage of muslims it is that commit these crimes.
The sad thing is ISIS love people like you, they want people like you to blame all muslims and to start patrolling muslim neighborhoods and making life difficult for innocent muslims because it plays into ISIS' propaganda. You are helping recruit people to ISIS so, no, I will not be helping you do that.
The very fact that refugees want to come to places not consumed in civil war says a lot more about how muslims feel about western (nominally Christian) countries and western culture than your hate filled invective does.
