I had my baby Thursday, September 8th. A beautiful healthy boy. He weighed 7 lbs and 3 oz.and was 20 inches long. Thank goodness they were wrong about his weight on the ultrasound I had the week before (the doc had said he weighed about 8 pounds then). He was eleven days early. I just hadn't been able to get on-line to tell anyone. I've been kind of busy.

I've been reading this thread looking like this . My baby's due date is September 19th. I went for an ultrasound Thursday, and they told me he already weighs about 8 lbs.and 2 oz. I was also like this that day, too. That means about half of the weight I have gained is all baby.Lol. I know the estimated size can be off. My neice's was by 2 pounds. She was under what they had said. I have planned on vaginal delivery with an epidural, but who knows what can happen. If I were done with everything, like putting the bed together (which I plan on doing tomorrow.) I would want this baby out of me RIGHT NOW! Lol. I had my last day at work Friday, and have been so relieved over just not having that stress. And I was staying away from the pregnancy message boards tonight (they can be scary). Heh.

Just for Es....
by wanderlustguy ines needs a thread...i've noticed she's been in the dumps and seems to think no one really notices.
well, time for that crap to stop.. you need to know you make a difference, just by putting in your two cents on any given subject here you make me crack a little grin, and i know i''m not the only one.
to say no one really notices is to berate the contribution you make as well as so many others.

This is why I am afraid to leave the house right now besides going to work. You can't really hide that you are 8 months pregnant that well. I am just paranoid as it is anyway. There was a WT article about this sister who was pregnant that was killed by someone looking at a car she had for sale and they cut the baby out of her stomach. There is another pregnant woman missing in Oklahoma right now I think. I was watching Fox News ( which I don't care too much for anyway because it makes me more paranoid) before I logged on the computer tonight. They said that the number one cause of death for pregnant women in the U.S. right now is murder. An average of two pregnant women a week are murdered in the United States. It was a doctor that was saying this. Seems, kind of to me, that something else would be the number one cause of death. I have talked to my Mom about this since I first found out I was pregnant. I am no longer with the father and that, too, is another reason I am paranoid because in most cases it's the father that kills the pregnant woman. Although he has never threatened me, and we have agreed that it is for the better that we don't talk to each other. Ugh @ this stuff.

Children or no Children?
by Sirona inthe jws used to always have discussions about whether to have children "in this system of things".. i used to always think it was pathetic to avoid having kids because of the so-called impending armageddon.. however.
despite the fact that i've always wanted kids, right now i'm not so sure.
just look at the things happening in the world.

It's about 4 and a half weeks until my due date, so I guess my answer to that would be "children!" I had reserved myself to thinking for years that I would never have children (I didn't think I could get pregnant because of some health issues I had). Whenever anyone asked me if I wanted children, I would always answer, if it happens that's great, but if it doesn't then that's ok, too. Most people didn't understand that point of view. I went through a lot emotionally when I found out I was pregnant but I was really thrilled and still am, even though I have a ton of stuff to do before the baby gets here. More about it later.

Ouija boards Do you feel they are real or not?Any personal experiences?
by Ticker ini've had several expereiences with ouija boards, some interesting, some disturbing, and as skeptical as i try to be i have to admit i have seen it personally say things and do things that i can not logically explain.
some say its your sub-conscience, some say its spirits, others say its demons.
i am just wondering if any of you have had experiences with the ouija board, what they were, and what you believe about them, supernatural or just another simple amusement?

My personal experience playing with a Quija board at my best friend's house is kinda short. Her mother was in the doorway, we had just put our hands on it, it spelled out "You love God," and went straight to Goodbye. After that, the planchette wouldn't move. My friend later told me it would work when her and her sister played it, but whenever I was there it never would, even though I wasn't touching it.I pretty much left them alone after that. It didn't really scare me. I was just kinda disappointed that now we were going to have to find something else to do.
