I'm pretty much happy until reality sets in. (sigh) I hate to be that way, but sometimes that's just how it is. Maybe this is why I like "House."

All call for "the happiness crowd"!
by changeling inall are welcome to join.
all you have to do is be happy and positive.
you must honestly want to spread your happiness infectiously throughout the world.. you must try to wear a smile most of the time.. you must listen compassionately and give good hugs.. i does not matter if you are not currently feeling happy, but you must promise to summon the feeling from within yourself.

Factory worker. Full-time single mother. I'd say house-keeper, too, but it appears that I am on strike. :D

Share one or two interesting things about you we probably didn't know
by Gopher inwe have such an interesting group of people from around the world on this board.
it might be interesting to have a thread where you discuss a hobby, something interesting that happened in the past, somewhere you've been, etc.. not deep, dark confessions - just interesting stuff.. .

I've not had a "real" vacation in more than 10 years. Ugh. I want one, dangit. My son's father has never seen him, yet we talk on almost a fairly regular basis. And work at the same place. :(

Can Anyoneeeeee
pleassssssssseeeeeeeee
finddddd meeeee SOMEBODY TO LOVEEEE...
I just love that song for some reason. We sometimes sing at work (on weekends, mostly) and this is one of our favorite songs. Well, just about any Queen song is fun to sing in a loud factory while inspecting auto parts no one has ever heard of.

Would You Condone Giving Birth Control To 11 Year Olds???
by minimus inin portland maine, all you have to do is see the nurse and you can get birth control pills.
we're not talking about high school.
we're talking abot middle school!

I do agree that this is wrong for an 11 year old child to be on birth control, let alone be sexually active. A lot of this responsibility goes back to parents that are not teaching their children right from wrong.

I thought it was the children's idea and then the school board adopted it.

I just wanted steak the whole time I was pregnant.
Oh, and at work they all pitched in and bought me diapers instead of having a baby shower for me there. I ended up with a whole backseat full of diapers and a couple of those giant boxes of baby wipes. That was actually the best gift I received.

When a woman I worked with was pregnant, her doctor asked her at her ultrasound if she wanted to know what she was having. She said "Well, I know it's not a puppy!"

I didn't have a theme. Mine was in a Steak House. LOL. The decorations were baby carriages and blue balloons. I was having a boy. I had a cake that was baby carriage shaped. Around here, it's not uncommon for men to come to baby showers, though they can become completely bored.
