Update:
2011 there were 98 branch offices. In the 2015 yearbook we are told there are now 90.
i've just finished an article for randy over on freeminds.org, which i've submitted to him for review.
hopefully it should be online soon, so please keep checking!.
the article discusses the fact that the watch tower society is already in decline, and suggests the year 2005 as the turning point.

it will be interesting to see what will happen with the "beloved" 501c3 tax exempt status which the churches hold so dearly onto.
the first-century christians met in homes.
they did not have exemption from taxes to the governments.
a situation regarding this religion has developed which i fear might have negative implications on me and wifes lives, and i'm looking for thoughts and advice in how to approach the situation.
i'll start with some background information to enlighten the situation.. i'm a male in mid-twenties, raised secularly, married to an ex-jw woman (on paper still a jw though), who's been raised in the jw religion, although somewhat untheocratically shall i say.
for instance her mother has 5 children with 3 different men, all non-jws, and has had many other relationships as well.
and or dresses?
just what is wrong with a smart pair of trousers?
i'm sure that the women would not start behaving like men or imagining that they have a dick!.
There is something in bible about men wearing womens clothes or vice versa. However, inthose days they all wore simple lenngths of fabric-very similar. Like the difference between womens shirts buttoning on the other side. So it wasnt about pants, but wearing pants meant for other gender.it was really stylistic. They all covered their heads, even. Fundamentalists have taken a clothing style from another period of time-not ours or a biblical time and determined that those times defined make/female garbs. In the 1700s men wore pants and women wore dresses. Not much exception to the rule.that amish mindset is in some christian groups.
The scripture would perhaps have taken issue with bruce dressing like a girl, but just as mush if kim kardashian wore a mans kilt vs a womans plaid skirt(tho probably happy she is covered at all;) )

14:45 ... the governing body very much feels the urgency of accomplishing as much as we possibly can, in behalf of kingdom interests, knowing that the great day of jehovah is near....
... in an effort to inform you of the support that is needed for this great work, i have the following information to share.
Building a tower, indeed!
I am weak at math. The universities have a class called "math for liberal arts majors" (seriously, that's the name). None even got to that basic business math class. None went to even community college. That they don't think about how much money is coming in vs how much they have to spend gives us a good idea of the wisdom of the clowns running that show.
They make plans based on WHAT? How many of you make your plans and magically expect fairies to give you the budget for it?

well my mom asked me if i would be attending the district assembly that is taking place this weekend with them.
i gave her a firm "no", she gave a look of total surprise.
probably because in the past i would say, maybe or if i can and would sometimes show up for half a day.
the dawn bible students association has a problem.
ken fernets, when on the phone, shows his true colors to women who call.
he engages in flirtatious speech.
so being around this cult, i always found it interesting that the rest of christianity use ad/bc and the non christians use bce/ce.
i never put two and two together.
but, it dawned on me that once again there is hidden proof that the witness cult is and anti-christ cult.
several threads have discussed the increased use of of the trolley work by witnesses in various countries (e.g, australia, new zealand, the states, canada and britain to name a few).
several posters have described trolley settings as largely ignored by passersby and/or the witnesses immersed in everything other than appearing ready and waiting to make contact with passersby.
what impact will this increased shift to trolley work have on the hallmark feature of jws, their door-to-door work?
