They don't even allow child abusers to be reported as it would make them look bad. They are never going to expose fraudsters or embeqzzled publicly if it exposes their poor management or gullibility.

Where has all the money gone?
by gingerbread ina number of years ago when i was still active, our service group was having a coffee break with the visiting circuit overseer.
during the conversation he mentioned that the "society" was now being run like a business.
being raised in the "truth" i thought that rather odd (and my eyes began to be opened!

The fact is that in an earlier time, those bombs would all have been used already. Hiroshima and Nagasaki were tragic indeed, but it stopped. All this technology given to a less advanced society would have been the end for real. Iran having atomic weapons doesn't scare me, but ISIS getting control in Israel, Pakistan, former ussr countries, that terrifies me. As does that N. Korean guy. He's just a whack job. -

August 1980 Kingdom Ministry about Apostasy & Franz resignation
by cabasilas ini was sorting some papers tonight and came across a copy of the august 1980 km which announced the "apostasy against the organization" (a letter from the governing body) and has the notification that raymond franz was no longer a member of the governing body and bethel family.
i remember reading this just as i was making plans to disassociate myself at the same time.
this copy of the km was in some papers that belonged to my mother-in-law (who passed away several years ago).

I still get emotional about the "truth" .....even though I know it's all lies...what is wrong with me????
by Witness 007 inmy mum is doing kemo and i have gone to many meetings at my old hall and brothers have said how they remember my old talks how good they were (ass kiss) and i still feel emotional even though i know 100% it is lies, funny human mind did i do it all for personal pats on the back and self esteem....yes i did i was a loser who needed some luv.

Mommy, you don't have to give or know all the answers. Jesus didn't give a picture of paradise earth. He was very much about how to treat others, NOW. Follow that example, keep it simple. It's not some theology to be reinterpreted. It's humanity 101. That's his main message. -

Your mom is going through chemo. You have stuff going through you like a pregnant woman-stress hormones, etc. Your mom's life is precious. You have to find good somewhere in all this because it validates her life and your life together. Good stuff happened. Friendship existed, even if it wasn't an overcoming a cult level of friendship.
Take the good memories. It doesn't mean you have to accept the bad stuff.

i've known about ttatt since ive been 18, im now 22 going on 23 but still go to meetings because of parents.

Welcome. You are gonna be fine. However, if you think it is the truth, it's going to keep sucking at your life and drawing you in. If you don't think it is the truth, get out of habit of saying it(calling it "the truth") asap. That will get your folks hopeful about your return. No sense in giving loving parents false hope or a roller coaster experience. Don't over think it. Live a healthy, productive and happy life and honor the good from your parents while choosing your own path. Congratulations!
