My eldest had more hair when he was born. No conspiracy, unless he was just taking that quiet thing way to the extreme. Really, why expose an infant to paparrazi? And not just normal celebrity infant stuff-heavy duty obsessive paparazzi. Cult or no cult, they don't do their child any good by making them so avail from the minute they are born. Cruise may do some eccentric things, but keeping his daughter to himself and the family is one of the smarter things he did.

I am sorry, but I don't think she is the most beautiful baby ever. Cute enough, but, I've had cuter! And seen many prettier babies. Looks just like her dad-who is a beautiful looking man, but I think she is just a cute happy little baby. We should ALL have Leibowitz photograph our kids!:) I am glad for them that they have a healthy, happy little girl. What more could any parent want?

Daughter getting out of ARMY!!!!!

she was in combat competition(won for her team) but she broke her wrist and thumb...and shattered her knuckle.. .
so they gave her a choice.........as they knew she wanted out.

Ouch, that is a hard way to get out of the army. At least the entire military will not shun her for her decision to leave! Can you imagine-we are here to protect everyone. . .except those who leave! Yikes. It is great that she gets to come home if that is what she wishes. Some of the lessons we learn when we are young are HARD.

When I was a kid and we were asked if we were Christian or non-christian, all the JWs I knew answered "Jehovah's Witness". We did NOT refer to ourselves as Christians(ever), yet NOW, if one was to say that JWs are not Christian, they would jump down your throat about it.

Most of my maternal family is/was JW-various levels of dedication/anger. There is so much disfunction that we are not often encouraged to be JWs again, but we are frequently given this "this wicked system of things" and "can't wait for the end" blah blah blah. Kind of sad, cause if anyone was to look at that side of the famly and only know JWs from our bunch, they would run SCREAMING the other direction. The levels of shunning vary-kind of funny, the worst of them are the toughest on the ex's. I mean the worst by the ones married the most, with the most addictions, or who have the most messed up families are the ones who judge 'the world' most harshly. Its exactly the kind of examples that JWs use to illustrate how messed up the 'world' is. But, they need to face it-they ARE the world, just humans like the rest of us-only the self-righteousness of the cult makes their bad behavior look worse.

My shunning mother called me....accidently
by restrangled inthis was such a sad exhange and just shows how unnatural this bogus rule by the wbts is.. i see my moms name on the caller id and i immediately pick up.
(keep in mind we live 2 blocks apart).

That was so sad. What a sad life she must lead that she doesn't have the freedom to talk to a daughter she obviously cares about. I hope that no tragedy has to touch her/your family for her to realize that you should come before a religion and that God asks no such thing of her that the Org does with impunity.
Your post made me want to cry for you and for her and for so many among us here.

I think she looks like a happy loved baby. Her parents look like happy loving parents. In the end, that matters the most. Whatever the religion is, I hope they are a happy family-and love each other no matter what.

OOPS that being said, I don't wish her dead.
I just don't like the chick. Some celebrities have actually entertained me, or are interesting or have done something for the world-or all 3. I have seen rich kids whose families expect them to work and contribute to the world-and they do! It is so sad to have everything and do so little with it. So, mostly Paris Hilton is just very sad. I think women like that inspire fundamentalist terrorists to hate Americans. But that is just my thought.
