  Has anyone been a victim of stalking for being a WT dissident?

  i recently wrote a letter expounding the flaws of the watchtower regarding their sexual abuse of children scandals, being in the united nations, having been started by a freemason (with proofs) and while i didn't write it as an "why i don't want to be a member anymore letter" no one would confuse it as a love letter either.

  i don't answer to the watchtower's agents and they don't answer to me.. what is seemingly happening is that i have been followed since the letter was mailed to 4 ex-congregations i went to for long periods of time including the one i attended with my jw ex-wife.

  i believe that i might now be getting stalked.

  I have heard of a brother-ex, anyway, being stalked in Norway or some cold country up north. I think he has a website. Sorry not to have more info.

  I will say that they don't need to pay anyone to harrass you in this way. The only slaves in the organization are the kool-aid drinkers, and they are legion. All those nice young men that want to be appointed, you know! Conscientious elders and MS. What did you actually believe about the religion to stay involved for 10 years in an acrimonious relationship with the WT organization? Why keep going to meetings? I am curious. Good luck.

  i read through my 10yo open msn window where she was chatting with the elder's wife... a few of the highlights are:.

  You have a right to that mama bear moment. I would tone down the anger re: the religion, and stick to the facts-she is trying to alienate your daughter(her intentions are immaterial in reality). If she takes her w/0 your permission it is kidnapping, and she has no business contacting a minor child and enticing her away from her parent, for the purposes of indoctrination, particularly when she is fully aware that YOU do not wish for her to indoctrinate your children. I would perhaps contact a lawyer to see what you can say that is factual and has some 'tooth' to it(preferably sharp and pointed). Your family or divorce atty. would probably have some guidelines or information for you-perhaps even brochures. Families go through a lot of relational crap after/during divorce regarding custody and visitation.

  What was the reason why you were never made an elder or Ministerial Servant

  the reason i heard constantly by the elders, as to ones spiritual progress in the organisation was, .

  "brothers are appointed by holy spirit.".

  if this is the case, why is god speaking to himself when he says in 1 tim 3 v 6 .not a newly converted man, for fear that he might get puffed up with prideetc.. to re-iterate if god appoints elders, why would he give himself this advice ???.

  I met Hambeak today and he is amazing.

  i had to bust hambeak out on what an absolutely amazing person he is.

  his story is his to tell and everyone here would be so blessed as to spend an afternoon with he and his.

  they are absolutely wonderful people and i think i am gonna love him for forever.

  My JW roommate and the false religion tract

  my roommate who is disabled was in the hospital for a couple of days last week (nothing too serious).

  one of the 'sisters' from the hall brought her a few of the tracts to hand out while she was in the hospital (like to nurses and whoever).

  she hasn't been to the meetings for a while because she hasn't been feeling well so this was the first time she had seen them.

  Called for Jury Duty

  i'm what you would call a unpatriotic, and a free thinker who doesn't agree with the judicial system in california.

  i've been called for jd about six or more times and every time they never use me because i make it very plain that i don't and won't play be thier rules when it comes to jd.

  usually i'm the first one the prosecutor dismisses because of my free thinking unpatriotic point of views that i make known as soon as i can.. i think our prisons are over crowded because of the states eagerness to inprision people, for things that i can never agree with.

  My JW mom was called for a very long term GRAND jury duty which involved 2 full days 2x a month. It lasted for over 18 mos. (Longer than usual because of an ongoing case that ultimately never was resolved. I don't think you can call it harrassment when you are called for jury duty.

  Abuse of elder position and platform

  the craziest statement (not lies not incorrect application of scripture) just total abuse of elder position and misuse of platform.

  an elder when on the platform(or as some might say the stage after all the majority are actors made a statement to the congregation because his wife was a bit sickly asked the bro/sisters to arrange a rota to make his dinners.my thinking was if he can't feed himself how can he feed the flock.visiting brothers could not beleive what they heard they thought he was joking.. i can asure you this elder wasn't noted for his humour.. kt.

  i voted early in the usa midterm elections today.

  it was the first time i have ever voted in my life and i've never felt so liberated, like a big weight has been lifted from me.

  it feels so good doing the bad bad things(like voting!

  Congratulations, you have done your duty;) I am glad I didn't miss out on that. I voted at 18 by absentee ballot for Pres. Reagan. My non JW dad helped me make that happen since I was out of state (already registered). I was very happy then, and I am an avid voter to this day-and think it is the least we should do as citizens. I have worked in partisan and non partisan ways at several elections. Can't make things perfect, but I can vote for the best of what I believe in.

  Gotta love a virgin voter. I hope your first time was beautiful:)

  I am 40, and if anyone cards me I can only gasp "God bless you!" :) I watched a movie recently about soccer in England, and a young man was asking his british friend what the legal age for drinking was, and I think the friend told him 13 or 15. . .I can't believe a movie gave wrong information! (I think the movie was called "Goal!". Saw it on accident, but enjoyed it.)
